Full Tank for Shell V-Power - which is RON97 - is already RM200 for most cars.

luckily all my cars required a 95 only. Remember, both 95 and 97 had a similar package of Fuel Additive if it BHP. So i tend to keep using BHP most of the time.

Calculation and table of estimated prices can be found at this link: https://goo.gl/cpYiBN. No guarantees any of the estimates will be correct as the government has been subsidizing the fuel price - even RON97! The good news is that RON95/Diesel has hit the ceiling and will continue on to be RM2.05 & RM2.15 respectively for the foreseeable future.

If calculating 22/2 to 28/2 cycle (Tuesday to Monday - weekends are using Friday prices), the actual retail price for RON95 & RON97 should be RM3.41 and RM3.71 respectively (±1 sen).

Thus, I estimate that RON97 would go up by 9 sen from last week to RM3.38 (±1 sen).

Note: RON95 will be capped at RM2.05/l & Diesel at RM2.15/l source

RON97 is at RM3.45 which is higher than what is calculated at RM3.38. I hope the gov have fully reflected the actual market price and stop paying subsidies for this product.

In other news Petronas announced their annual report yesterday.

The govt is somewhat following the increase / decrease according to my calculation - albeit with roughly 27 sen subsidy. Still a far cry from the estimated RM1.36 subsidy for RON95 lol
