Just wondering, whats the best value box right now? Saw the discussion about KM2.
For my usage, I think I just want to cast screen from my PC (both MacOS and Windows), stream game from PC, access my NAS to play some movies I own.
Is TVBox an overkill or I should just settle with some simple casting device?

Edit: I'd also prefer something that works out of the box, getting too old to play around with workaround n stuffs icon_rolleyes.gif

Those without L1 widevine on android box, may wanna try below app if the NETFLIX work for your boxes. I can confirmed it is remote friendly and in SD cry.gif only on my Mecool M8S Pro LB version.

Hi all,
Anyone knows which vdo player is capable of playing 4K HDR movie mp4 files? Kodi doesn't, it only can play it correctly in a laptop/pc. Any suggestion ?

Depends. For me only get a TV box if you find that after installing apps, you have no more space on your TV's built in storage. TV boxes like MeCool KM2 has a microSD card slot and USB 3.0, which makes it easier to expand storage

I haven't tried Nova and Plex, the rest are not able to bring out the true color of the HDR file in the tvbox.... But if I play the file in my laptop, it displays brilliant colour..

Tks anyway.

They are mostly similar. IIRC the Xiaomi P1 and the Prism+ TV have better SOC than the Mi Box S.
If you really want a TV box that is much better than what an Android TV can muster, than maybe get an Nvidia Shield? It has a great 4k upscaler, which is unmatched by anything right now

Hi bro, just gotten the CGwGTV recently.

- First time VPN user (surfshark), the loading time especially for Neflix is very slow, is it normal for all VPN usage?
- Are HBO Max and Disney+ supporting 4k and atmos in CGwGTV? I can't seems to see those in their apps
- In any way we can find out the bitrate for streaming? In my Samsung TV Nexflix app, the info will be showing when clicking the info button on the remote.

Surfshark is a not good VPN, it is slow.
Yes but only Disney+ for atmos not the local Disney+ Hotstar. Also local Disney+ Hostar 4K title is very rare.
For HBO Max, supported title is very little. 4K confirmed yes, I can't remember got Atmos or not already, I already unsubscribe.
I afraid nope.

Atmos required hardware support as well, if you don't have Atmos speaker then you won't get it.
This is same for 4K HDR / Dolby Vision, it is depends on your hardware.

Also not all titles in Atmos & 4K HDR / Dolby Vision but basically all new title is on Atmos & 4K HDR / Dolby Vision.

For VPN, I suggest for NordVPN or ExpressVPN.
