Atmos required hardware support as well, if you don't have Atmos speaker then you won't get it.
This is same for 4K HDR / Dolby Vision, it is depends on your hardware.

Also not all titles in Atmos & 4K HDR / Dolby Vision but basically all new title is on Atmos & 4K HDR / Dolby Vision.

For VPN, I suggest for NordVPN or ExpressVPN.

Thanks for the recommendations thumbsup.gif
Yes, I do have an Atmos capable SB and 4K (non DV) TV.
I am getting 4K Atmos from CC's Netflix and Apple TV+ app just fine.

[Update] - installed another Disney+ apk now and am getting 4K HDR and Atmos rclxm9.gif
But HBO Max still unable to output Atmos even though The Matrix indicates Atmos on its title. unsure.gif

[Update 2] apparently HBO Max is having issues on atmos after that lastest update. Many reports in avsfroum and reddit.
Simply revert to older version 50.40.xxx now atmos is working on my CCwGTV thumbsup.gif

If the media player is running off an Android box, I think the go-to software/app is Kodi. Go to the Play Store to download it.

If you play a HDR content using an Android box that can handle HDR but a monitor/TV that cannot, you get washed out video. To fix this, Kodi has enable tone-mapping feature with 4 settings. However, it seems that only Kodi on Windows and NVidia Shield can enable this feature due to the GPU involved.

yeah, Kodi on Windows will play the HDR file correctly. My Sony TV has HDR10 compatibility and I'm using TVBox with Android 9,(S905X3) which supposed to support Support H.265, 8K, 4K, HDR+. Do you see any area that is causing the issue ?

It could be the Android box. Can you play Netflix HDR content without it looking washed out?

Only the UI is in 1080p. 4K content will play in 4K. See this discussion on Reddit.

Rejoice y'all! 😜

HiMedia is a brand that has its operations offer audio-video solutions. This includes research and development of products that offer high tech image processing, audio and video codec, and more. The company is now planning on launching a new smart TV box that will be able to turn old TV’s at your home’s into a smart screen/TV. Notably, this smart TV box will run on the Chinese tech giant’s proprietary operating system, the HarmonyOS. In other words, another brand is featuring the OS on its platform.

I updated my mi box s with latest OTA and now it is bricked. Not able to boot at all. Search Google it is affecting certain countries. I bought mine from GearBest 3/4 years ago.
Please be warned not to press install.

The method to flash firmware in recovery without opening the box did not work for me. Most ppl able to revive using the hard method, open the box, wire 2 pins, flash from PC. This is too much for me and I lazy do it. So, my box is now officially a brick at home.

Dear all. Need suggestion on what kind of box I should get.

-I have netflix account and planning to use it on the box.
-I have astro account that I put in my mom's house, but I stream football matches on my computer with AstroGo. I want it in the box.
-I want to cast from my pc (in the room) in case i wanna watch downloaded contents.
-I dont play games on the box. My kids maybe, but unlikely.
-I watch western stuff, not much Chinese/Asian shows.
-Im okay to subscribe to myiptv etc if they have thousands of good channels.
-I only have non smartHDTV and dont have hi speed internet. Just 10mb unifi copper.

A lot has pointing me to Mecool KM2. Advise please smile.gif
