Need to wait a bit first for real world reviews of the Neo T5. Then can compare proper. Brand-wise though? Minix trumps. Price? Mecool.. Typically..

Sad day yesterday. My X92 suddenly just.. won't boot. My wife n I were watching kdrama for a few hours, then suddenly the screen went blue (no signal) and I thought it was the hdmi cable which sometimes can be loose but that wasn't the case. Nothing works with the remote buttons, even shutting off had to be done manually.

During a normal boot, the X92 would lit brightly followed by the word "boot" at the front lcd display, but this time no matter how many times I tried, the X92 didn't lit as bright as before and sometimes it flickers.. in short, it refuses to boot.

Haven't tried connecting to pc to flash (if that even works). I think my X92 just went dead

I have this box but don't watch tonton...
Perhaps is your power adapter, try finding similar adapter at local electrical shop

Rare to suddenly shift from normal operations to a bricked device. I would try manually reflashing the latest firmware or the one behind that. Whichever is more stable.

Tried with a similar adapter with same voltage, not booting up.

That is too much racun hehe..

I think I'm just gonna grab a Tanix TX6.. still got 3 usb slots, external antenna, plus I've seen reviews saying the Alice UX is a great customizable launcher. Then, unroot it.. finally install astro go and the rest apks.

Try Evpad 3S at my wife hometown not bad come with free HDTV app free for life.

Thinking to change my old tvbox for this. Any recommended tvbox better than this and cheper price. Must come with free IPTV apps and movies.

No discussion about illegal IPTVs.

Moreover don't ever trust free for life thing, most of the time it won't last. If lucky, 1-2 years, if unlucky, 1-2 months, super unlucky 1-2 weeks.

Legal way, get a box and install Astro Go and other legal IPTVs apps like UniFi TV.
