Hi Sifus.... Happy weekend.

I have been doing market search for a reliable android tv box for quite sometimes. I am new for it and all my knowledge is based on Google.

I have found out about Beelink GT1 Ultimate. It seems to be fine for me. However, after checking teh reviews, i am not sure whether i should go for it or not. I am quite puzzled. And there are so many boxes in the market. I do not want to buy any of it without having a proper guide and also advice. Here are my budget and requirements.

I really need your valuable feedback and advice in order for me to get one.

BUDGET - RM350

PREFERENCES

- FHD (No need 4K etc but if can get, well and good)
- 3-4GB RAM & 32-64GB MEMORY
- ASTRO subscription
- Able to run on 5 MHZ and not only 2.4
- strong wifi receiver (i am at the same time planing to use lan cable for faster connection)
- to have predownloaded TV apps like Terranium, Hindi movie channels, netflix, chinese/HK/Taiwan dramas and hantu movies or any other recommended apps that are widely used in Malaysia
- With the latest android
- after running a while, no hanging. As i read reviews, most people complain that after using the device for sometimes, it heats up and lows down
- able to play very light simple games for my 4 y.o toddler.

I was about to say the same thing too. Minix U1 only has 2GB RAM but works well. I'm the type of person who doesn't clear apps in my Android box and yet it doesn't crash or hang on me.

Hi all, need some advise here. I am looking at Tanix TX5 and Tanix TX6. May I know which one is better ? I saw that TX5 is android 8.1 while TX6 is only 7 and also in term of RAM, TX5 is ddr4 while TX6 is only ddr3. Therefore, Tanix TX5 is better ? sorry for the noob question here. Thank you in advance

Did any of u guys already install Hypptv and succesfully can stream all channel?

Currently i got issue the error when i wan to play any channel. Something like playback code error 111. Only tv1 and tv2 can stream. Not sure why happen, can this error be solved?

On another note, apparently there's an "EVPAD 3S - Malaysia Edition" and this is being advertised as both SIRIM & MCMC approved.. If that's true...I'm unsure how that came to be.. No more war on boxes and ehem content?

Wonder how they can get certified. The 700+ channel is still there!

And wonder who translate to Chinese, it said 马来认证版 = Malay Certified. Not Malaysia... lol. Malaysia is call 马来西亚, not 马来。

Haha.. So that's what that whole check for logo is all about.. I couldn't read that and just assumed it meant they are approved.. Oh well, if they haven't been on the authorities' radar, this should get the to the top of the list fairly quickly..

This thing is really certified by SIRIM. Haha! So now I know the certification had nothing do to with the device came with illegal channel or not. Haha!

I figured and kinda makes sense.. Though, what does this say about the folks up in there.. I don't even work in their approval/enforcement department and even I know what the name EVPAD is synonymous with. 99.99% of anyone who buys an EVPAD device buys it for a singular reason. Which is definitely not their hardware or firmware. So I guess, legally.. The company can cash in on this (as they have) and hint that they are backed by SIRIM & MCMC..

Alternatively, perhaps the government is giving them ropes to hang themselves..
