For the Mecool KM9, you can buy from other online stores.. Not necessarily must be local only. There's Aliexpress or Gearbest.. Alternatively, you could still purchase from Lazada and factory reset the device.. If stock firmware, it should reset to default without the preloaded stuffs.

From the 5 listed devices, EVPAD is probably the only one that has its own ehem apps for content.. The rest are typicaly sellers just pre-installing a bunch of stuff that you may or may not need. Apps/services you can find yourself anyway.. I prefer a stock, light and mean firmware..then customize as to my liking vs having to deal with unnecessary crap and the issues that will crop up later when the apps die of or clash.

i see ur point here. i also prefer stock and light TV box.

therefore Mecool KM9 is more to those clean experience user?

Dose KM9 support AOTG?

I can't recall anyone who frequents here who's bought the KM9 and reported AOTG works on it.

You can go ahead to purchase it and try it out.. Technically it should work, seeing as it works on it's older sibling.. the MeCool M8S Pro L.

I'm happy they specced it out with 4GB DDR4 RAM + 64GB EMMC ROM... This if you ask me should be the minimum or standard for flagship boxes.. Particularly the ROM storage part. Cuz most would want to play games (faster & more energy efficient DDR4 helps greatly here too) and perhaps stream higher bitrate files on it. With 5xGB+ free ROM, it's good. It does look Google certified.. But of course, since the Netflix logo or wordings are missing, I don't think it's Netflix certified too.. Lastly, my major downside on their latest (if not all) boxes is that MeCool still ships out with 100Mbps ethernet ports.. C'mon, Gigabit should be standard d.. Without which it's still hard for me to justify them over Minix.

You wait GuyM receive first and check.. If truly Google certified, it should be unrooted. Or best case, it's the hide-able root type.

KM3 VS KM9..differences..AFAIK
RAM: DDR4 vs LPDDR4 (The latter consumes very little power to preserve as much as possible the autonomy of mobile devices and tablets but sacrificing much of the speed that has a normal DDR4 memory.
ROM: 64GB vs 32GB

Yes, you should be able to upgrade the fw yourself via their update app.. Though their website doesn't yet list both products.. Similarly, no fw specifically for those 2 are downloadable from their website. Weird.

You need to be more specific.. What particular MiBox model and purchase from where? Running global or Chinese fw? What YouTube app type you using (Android TV or regular Android)? version? No give info, how to help.

The Xiaomi MiBox S should be able to output YouTube in 4K. However, I've read that it's color reproduction isn't the best, especially when compared to certain smart TV's YouTube app. So you might be better off using your TV's, if available.

I plan to buy himedia q10 pro. I have few question want to ask your opinion
1. A brand named Egreat. How is it compare to himedia?
2. Which IpTV provider deliver 1080p resolution or higher? (I'm fine on the yearly fees)

My TV size is 60'' with maxis 30mbps Fiber broadband.
