Later can you please confirm if Hypptv everywhere can be used with this box? Mine didn't work. Called TM and they said probably box is rooted.

Hai, i have tried the hypptv app on u9 couple month ago and its works just fine, but only on wifi. Ethernet only able to stream Luxe HD and RTM channel iirc, not sure why.

Not sure about the U9, but on my U1, under Ethernet settings, there's an option to fake wifi status. It's to trick the OS and apps to think it's connected to wifi instead of mobile data (which is how it's considered when it's connected to LAN)

The question isn't if such boxes can function (they can), it's if the service you intend to use on the device, will work as intended and without much buffering. 2Mbps for most is considered pretty slow and so expect some buffering.
*
Ya, I know that, but my area maximum speed is just 2mbps, even i want upgrade to 4mbps but tm have no 4mbps line, so currently looking for any boxes can run smooth by 2mbps line....even not hd also nevermind. cause use to watch tvb drama mostly

U9 did have the option, i did try turning it on. but HyppTV still doesnt work.
it only work under below scenario:
turn on wifi, click fake wifi, hypptv works, restart device, (fake mode still on) hypptv doesnt work.
basically, we need to manually on wifi device, and it didnt work after each reboot.

do you experience the same thing?

Not working after a reboot could be a firmware bug (in which case, you should raise it to the Minix team) or simply the Hypptv's app being silly as it's known to be. My money is on the latter. biggrin.gif

I am using Minix Neo U1 conntect thru Ethernet. Hypptv everywhere all these while connection issue. I try to use "HyppTV Everywhere (tablet) TM.APAD.5.1.1.0 for Android 3.0+ APK Download" after read someone comments in fb. And it is working for most subscribed channels.

If use latest HyppTV everywhere, how to use Ethernet to fake wifi status?

You might as well just download video files and mount it to a box to watch it instead of streaming with 2mbps.

As briefed earlier. There's searching within this thread, checking out the Garage Sales section and good ol' Google. Authorities are watching and shutdown stuffs.. A single Google search will surely lead you to some provider and reviews, you pony up some cash and check it out for a month or so. I wouldn't want the really good stuff to end. What ends it is typically over-popularity and this forum is publicly available and scraped by Google.

Completely agreed with this, was having 2Mb/s before and streaming is not working well on my android box especially for live TV, except youtube on my smart tv still watchable. Download the videos and watch using external hdd connected to the USB.

Settings > Network > Ethernet > Faked WiFi Status (Set this to 'ON').

Found it but it didn't not work on latest HyppTV Everywhere Tablet version. If use WiFi connect n disable Ethernet, then no problem to watch all channels.

Do I missed out anything? Do I have to enable the WiFi connection at the pull down the notification? I prefer to use Ethernet since the router just next to it.

Nope, you didn't miss out on anything. Since the router is close by, just use plain wifi for as long as possible or whenever you require the Hypptv app. At least, the app works for you. it doesn't work on some devices at all.

Got my U9-H running (well at least my most used kodi addons are added)

So the 4k resolution @60hz is fixed right? I believe I read somewhere there is no adaptive resolution function (so everything the box will upscale right?)

Only adaptive function I saw is HDMI Self Adaption which has off, Level 1 and Level 2 (it's fiddling with the refresh rate iinm)
