i got the box for less than RM300 from GearBest months ago. Yes, shipped from China. Comes with Android Nougat.

GB is selling the Alfawise version of H96Pro+. Should be the same with the non branded H96Pro+. Can head over to FreakTab to have a read on the reviews there. Quite a big community, and they have their own Kodi fork: FTMC. Got custom firmware as well.

Not sure about Lazada warranty. U may check with the seller. If got warranty pretty sure its time consuming since u need to post it back. The bright side is the price. Hehe.

sorry because i don't use all that. I only use for normal Kodi streaming. Bought it due to it's RAM, and storage size and speed. I use BT headphones most of the time. Good enough for me.

AFAIK, there is better app compatibility on Lollipop than its successors. As in majority of ehem apps are more compatible on Lollipop. So Android 5 > Android 6 > Android 7. in addition, a higher OS version is irrelevant where shitty firmware are concerned. Still depends on the device and manufacturer.

PQ, PQ, PQ, I'm yet to hear from someone who plugged em both on identical TVs and fired up the same files for comparison. Even then, it's still bound to be subjective.. So I say, get a really good display with a solid engine first., then talk.. Don't be fooled as not all 4K branded TVs are actually capable of outputting 4K. Don't get me started on HDR either...

As per my previous post, the Minix Neo U9-H is second to only the Nvidia Shield TV Box where 4K HDR Kodi plus Dolby Atmos & DTS:X are concerned. It just works. Don't just take my word for it, you can verify this from the official Kodi forum too. Heck, even loading up LibreELEC Kodi on my Minix Neo U1 will give either device a good run for their money (hardware limitations aside cuz the S905 lacks VP9 and HDR10 support). The only reason I haven't upgraded to the Neo U9-H is because I'm yet to jump on the whole 4K HDR10, etc TV & AVR bandwagon. So to pick between the 2 devices, the Minix Neo U9-H lords over the HiMedia Q10 Pro and would be my choice any day. Why? Besides simply being the fastest and most powerful Kodi running device powered by regular Android OS....With such devices, after sales support is crucial.. Without it, you are in for some trouble and the guys at Minix always come through for the community.
