QUOTE(OCMAX @ May 23 2017, 03:48 PM) Last time I only used the capsule for wifi/swtich and back-up but after I cut my Astro line. I come to aware how the capsule can in-cooperate into my home network vid streaming. It is just amazing of an 6years old+ device can do. btw! I'm not promoting apple products. Just sharing my experience on home vid streaming working together with my Android TV boxes. Yep, that's the thing.. Apple used to be a true innovator. Recent years, they've just been playing catch up. No worries, very few will be dropping RM1800 for a "glorified" NAS cum wireless router..

Is very hard after Steve.J passed away Yup! apple product are expensive to used but but they have a huge loyal die-hard fans that used their product. for example. One can travel from point A to point B with a cheapest car but people still buy the most expensive car to travel on the same road. This post has been edited by OCMAX: May 23 2017, 05:19 PM

"the problem is choice" (neo, matrix revolutions). too many choices!! really, over time, we all find our own preference for everything. for devices, i am now using windows and android only, no more apple/ios n others. However, there's a dedicated MiBox thread.. Be wise to go read a couple pages first. Also, use the search feature.. QUOTE(Lurker @ May 24 2017, 04:33 PM) Interesting... Guess, I'll have to increase monitoring my network incase my device goes rogue and is used in a DoS attack. Besides that, meh...as no sensitive info is available to be mined.

QUOTE(ApostLes` @ May 24 2017, 06:39 AM) hi can give feedback regarding H96 + vs T95Z plus vs Mi Box 3 pro? which is the best among these 3? tq A few folks here went for the H96 Pro+, haven't read much on H96+... if they used the same board just less memory then should be OK... however with contract manufacturing they may have the same "family name" but can be designed / made by different people Saw a review saying T95Z's wifi is weak... AFAIK there is no Mi Box 3 pro listed on mi.com now... there's 3c, 3s, 3 enhanced... the Mi Boxes have their own set of issues & problems... Edit:...and Mi Box "International" or USA... The article did mention that the hack takes advantage of an exploit that has been fixed in the latest versions of most video players.. I'm guessing its fixed in the likes of Kodi and VLC.. Being major players.
