If your referring to the Belkin power strips, please take a look at the fine print for warranty. If you want to make a claim for loss, you have to ship back the offending power strip to USA or Australia. If they deem your claim to be justifiable, they will pay otherwise nada (after spending probably rm100-200) for shipping it.

I have a friend working in the appointed local warranty dept. She told me the warranty claims is not fake. She in fact involved in a few claimed cases.
