I noticed no settings can be made. Free users can watch live channels? Locked to any provider? I have switched from UniFi to Digi Infinite.

I'll try for you tomorrow...

Try using your phone?

I suspect DIGI "blocking" you...

Thanks. Playing well on my phone. sweat.gif.
Using same WiFi network (Digi). I guess it is my box issue and probably my laptop issue (still haven't restarted my browser tongue.gif).

hi guys,

i'm deciding between 2 boxes, Alfawise H96Pro+ or the MeCool M8S Pro.

both having S912, and 3gb RAM.
H96Pro+ has 16gb more ROM than M8S.
performance area rather similar.

any advice? which manufacturer is better? how about firmware update releases?
well review from FreakTab users does say H96Pro+ running quite hot, until many decided to mod the casing with fans and vents to allow more air flow.
not many reviews on the M8S though.

GT1 Ulti was one of the choices until i saw the benchmark scores as well as A1 SD test scores. the other 2 boxes perform much better than it. does Beelink offer frequent updates?

i do prefer bigger ROM but if it comes with problems, then...nahhhh

Does anybody able to play videos on Tonton's live channels? I installed it via Google Play Store but nothing was played... sweat.gif

I wanna watch 8TV actually, any recommended free app? I just wanna watch once only because my face will be shown in a TV programme. tongue.gif Else, I will stick to AOTG via my iPad Mini. sad.gif

Hi, IMO.. I'd pick the Alfawise H96Pro+.. Use it for a bit and if the heat worries you, get a cheap laptop cooler to help.

but does the new firmware solves the issue of wifi dropping out that happens with 6.0.1?

and there are so many versions of the box. some DDR3, some DDR4.
FT's superceleron also have many versions of ROM for the different versions.
but this one (FT link) seems interesting brows.gif

Sharing my experience.

DO NOT buy AC RYAN product. I used to own a PlayOn 3 Mini. It seems to be a nice product to me when I bought it. Solid casing/hardware, nice and not too laggy GUI for network browsing (not for internet), playing most files until...

I upgraded my firmware and it can't be booted anymore.

1. Firmware download from original website
2. Once firmware upgraded, it cannot be booted
3. Explain via email to support (support crap, reply after few days) and they explain hardware failure without hesitation
4. Asked me to send back the unit to them, support only in Singapore (Of cos i need to pay for the fix)

How can they assure it's hardware failure without seeing it?
Their support simply doesn't care?

Lesson learn. Just to share so that one can consider twice before buying

P.S. - Search the location of the company and ask any Spore friend, what's that place like

Normally those apps came with the box are full of ads. it will ask you to download another in-purchase apps etc.....
uninstall those and install your own apps. There are plenty useful apps. google is your friend. smile.gif

android box offers u a new online streaming experience compared to yr condemned ac ryan.

however, this box u bought cannot do one thing the ac ryan can do - dtshdma, ddtruhd audio pass thru for playback.

but if u r not into home theater and such videos, it does not matter as u will still get dd and dts.
