I just top up on Monday ( 9th Nov 2020 ) RM 5,000.00 into AmChina-A Share, the RM 5K being the minimum top up value. Looks like I top up at the peak.

Good also china got some pullback. Not healthy that all their pullback is caused by US market or trade war. Now at least the pullback due to improvement in regulation in China. If done well, it should strengthen the system there further n close any regulatory loop holes.

PGC yesterday 3.8%, today gonna be another drop

Based on the news, worry the clamp down from the China government might leave a permanent drop

Hopefully 🙏
Today’s drop please not so steep 🙏
Gonna be end of the year soon and so far my portfolio so so only. If considering the losses due to the Precious Metal and Global Titan, leaving the money in epf seems a better choice

Pulled the trigger and bought PGC as well. The drop is an opportunity to buy indeed.

My excel sheet punya pivot laugh.gif got in my signature but my current (developer) version is newer tongue.gif

You can use my v3.1c - has same features just slightly uglier chart tongue.gif (but you can change design easily)

whoa, very good allocation for a "youngster", heavy on equities.
i see BTC in there. Nice - i havent had the gumption to do that yet as i still see BTC & Gold as off-shoots of currency paiseh paiseh.

My own AA % of value held

and their % of value held in Vehicles (RE = Real Estate)

Going for a simple 1/3 in Reserves, Biz Equities & RE Equities - simple i can handle till nyanyuk XD

Very balanced portfolio rclxms.gif - your "Others" equity includes Malaysia also? Or you leave Malaysia to EPF to manage? wub.gif

My bitcoin laughable lah, barely 0.05% of my portfolio. I'm also still skeptical in crypto so only put <0.5% in it just to "learn by banging wall" (how I learn things, typically)

Real Estate "direct" as in REITS? Or physical direct? hmm.gif

laugh.gif I actually quite like EPF's ROI / IRR and not really in favour of touching it sweat.gif

Yeah - my "Others" equity includes MY, my catch-all other than US & CHN bin XD
Nah - EPF, i categorize as Fixed Income (Bonds/EPF) since contractual 2.5% minimum and long term averaging 5%pa+.

BTC - yeah, best way to really learn is to have some "skin in the game", then can really know thyself (fear/greed), like one of our fellow forumer, neewish to fund investing laugh.gif We've all been there heheh - just that we survived it and soldiered on, rather than swearing off equities laugh.gif

PS:
RE Direct - was a mixed of investment property +REITs stocks in SG & US, until i got fedup with being a landlord.
i definitely am NOT a people people mega_shok.gif moved everything to REITs about 5 years ago (height of property craze - touchwood)

yea i tend to agree with this statement biggrin.gif

not very easy ler to find a fund that consistently gives 5 - 7% every year and summore promise a minimum of 2.5%.

if not because of the 55 yrs old withdrawal thingy, i would have just dumped all my investable money into EPF. no need to bother trying to manage my own investments.

Anyone facing issue to access the chart? Previously we can just search the fund from the list by typing one single word eg Dinasti to show the chart for ES Dinasti, but this feature cannot be used anymore?

Do you guys take profit when the funds reach a certain target return %? or do you hold until you want the cash for something?

take profits as to just taking out the profit portion or sell off it off entirely?

on this "or do you hold until you want the cash for something?" hmm.gif by that time, there may not be any profit at that time of need innocent.gif
