buy now $1
sell later $1
absolutely stable but good for investing?

when is good enough or not crazy enough up/down?
again, isnt that what programmatic OR no fear/ no greed DCA or VCA is for?

oh - wanna time market ka?
not process oriented but opportunistic? then it's called value investing, not DCA / VCA i think

FI just temporally....

hmm value investing I like.....

my point is market sensitive ba....

those who DCA kgf or any Malaysia eq sure bleed badly.... 10% for the past 6 months? how long to earn 10%? lol. you need to earn the loss before you can earn the gain. why still DCA to a market that still going south? and we already know it....

as long as we don't really see a clear direction of market like few years back.... I think stay away 1st... or some FI to prevent further loss. or the loss we expect to come. I mean the current instable we can predict easily. no need time also know what will happen lol
trade war.... Malaysia new gov.....

just my opinion btw.

Last week was bad... maybe the baddest week... port last 2.6%.
And yesterday, another bad day... down 0.9%.

This month could be worse than March.

Based on this..

SUPP - 18.18%
EQ - 36.36%
FI - 45.45%

May I know what they say based on this figure? Balanced port?

** Salah team just got eliminated. 1 star fund cant lift the port!

Fundsupermart's Discounted Initial Sales Charge* 1.75 %
Annual Management Charge* 1.5 %
Trustee Fee* 0.08% p.a.of NAV, subject to a minimum of RM18,000 per annum.
Other Significant Fees* -
Annual Expense Ratio ^ 1.68% (as of February 28, 2018)

How does one count the sales charge ya? From above it seems like more than 3%. Does that mean that any ROI you get from your portfolio will minus the sales charge?

Unknown to what specific input you need....
FSM had provide some comments on this fund

"CIMB-Principal Greater China Equity Fund
CIMB-Principal Greater China Equity Fund topped the list of Recommended Unit Trusts this year with its superior performance and low expense ratio. Based on our methodology which assesses the fund’s performance (60% weighting), risk and expense ratio (20% weighting each), the fund claimed the first position out of four funds under the Sub Regional Equity - Greater China category.

Performance-wise, the fund ranked first over the past one-year to five-year periods on a cumulative basis. In terms of calendar year returns, the fund has also ranked first in 2014 as well as 2016 and ranked second in 2012, 2013 and 2015 respectively. The fund has relatively stronger resilience, with lower max drawdown and downside volatility as compared to its peers' average. In terms of annual expense ratio, the fund has a lowest annual expense ratio of 1.8% as compared to its peers, indicating the ability of the fund to deliver strong performance without incurring higher costs for the investors.

The fund adopts an active fundamental approach with a focus on companies that grow shareholder value in the long term. Hence, the fund will seek to identify companies with sound fundamentals, high level of earnings visibility and those with a commitment to growing shareholder value over time

For investors who would like to invest in the Greater China region, we advise them to include this fund as part of their supplementary portfolios. While the fund is denominated in RM, there is foreign currency exposure as the underlying securities which the fund holds are quoted in their respective local currencies.

[Commentary based on data as of end-March 2017, unless otherwise stated]"
