QUOTE(webking911 @ Feb 6 2017, 11:17 AM) Bezza Advance does have Hill Start Assist. So far it works fine for me on slight slopes. But i notice that i have to come to a complete stop first before it kicks in... But yet to try on very steep slope (that kind like multistory car park steep) but when i do ill let you know if it works. |

So far tested on multi story car park no issue. You have to fully break/stop your car then when release the break it won't slip backwards. However remember Hill Start Assist is not to be use as break, as soon as you release the break try to step on the gas as soon as you can. If I didn't recall wrong, the hill assist thingy only help for few seconds (like 2-5 seconds)After that it will release, so be aware that it is not holding for long time and the car may move backwards or forward lo |

QUOTE(y4ng @ Feb 9 2017, 12:25 AM) i think can just open the hood, find if there's a place to fill clutch oil if it is hydraulic based. axia/myvi is using clutch cable, cheaper cost, so most likely the same? correct me if i am wrong please, learning is important. Myvi is using hydraulic clutch bro. Sharing with the break pump oil. Break + Clutch sharing pump that's the P2 foreman pointed and explain to me.This post has been edited by djandrew: Feb 10 2017, 09:17 AM |

To be honest cable clutch is the best! hydraulic clutch can't set high or low engagement point (no freeplay). i still miss cable clutch. yeah im a manual freak too This post has been edited by djandrew: Feb 10 2017, 09:34 AM |

QUOTE(y4ng @ Feb 10 2017, 09:36 AM) just wanna ask, i heard manual myvi 1.5's gear knob position is very awkward and is not as enjoyable to drive compared to kelisa. brother wants to buy one. my aim is a CR-Z or FT86 5 years from now. Now the only manual vehicle i own is a KSR bike. Previously i drove kelisa manual for 10 years then 2 years back changed to myvi 1.5 manual. for me i feel myvi gear knob position more comfortable (rubbery feel type as well) hence maybe due the horsepower is greater when changing gear time compare to kelisa the feeling is much more satisfied, u know when after engaged 2nd/3rd gear and release clutch the moment when u feel the car griping the wheel & pushing forward in a tick, that's it.....kelisa gear a bit loose, when car idle time can see the gear knob shaking very much. but if clutch footstep pedal kelisa has a better feel for me. your bro now driving kelisa is it? if so also tell him prepare to get more sampan feel when cornering etc after changed to myvi, 100% will feel it much different compare to kelisa. This post has been edited by djandrew: Feb 10 2017, 10:06 AM |

Anyone know anywhere to install reverse camera rear view mirror without voiding the warranty?
Something like this; http://www.11street.my/productdetail/dual-...r-view-28553304 GF using the Bezza X now. Not necessary to change head-unit (Supports Bluetooth audio & GPS use Waze). Just assuming this is the only alternative. Any help or story from someone who done it is more than welcome! Thanks! |

Just tested on almost 40deg slope in parking of GM Klang Mall and can confirm that HSA works, but must first come to a complete stop. When let go the brake, HSA was engaged and the car didnt roll down.

the head unit Easy Connect apk does support iphone via wifi on the mirror screen, probably P2 HU doesn't built with wifi or license issue?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xTS1plWkQE http://www.autopumpkin.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1456 anyway, this is the guide (start from step 2) using easy connect to android phone (isn't mirrorlink, thus any android phone will work) https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/how-get-mirr...eo-auto-pumpkin This post has been edited by iRonTech: Feb 14 2017, 09:08 AM |

Was looking around for info on how to get waze to run on smartlink once handbrake down.
Found an older post in v1 that made waze work for me without a hardware bypass. Maybe we can put this under Useful Information? https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=81588243 QUOTE(eclectice @ Sep 6 2016, 02:58 PM) 1) Establish SmartLink connection first when USB debugging mode is activated. It will install EasyConnected Server service silently and activate Drive Mode app. 2) Make sure you see EasyConnected Server is running as service from Settings > Apps > Running list on your smartphone 3) Close EasyConnected Server service from its Info panel 4) Close Drive Mode app 5) Open Waze 6) Double-check EasyConnected Server is no more running (I am sure it is not running unless your USB connection is broken; reconnect the USB cable will reinstall EasyConnected Server when in SmartLink mode) |

Hi Bezza owners, do you experience some faint low frequency rumbling noises when your are lugging the highest gear? (1.3 AT)
For example your are 60-70km/h on a flat road with minimal throttle. Then you start climbing a very slight highway gradient or maybe an overpass, you are extremely easy on the throttle and do not input more. So, the rpm is about 1200-1300 (now about 50-55km/h) as you climb the slight gradient, there will be some very faint and bassy rumbling (brrrrr/grrrrrr). Sometimes the sound stays or even gets slightly louder (still quite soft but its there) if you try to put more throttle but still not enough. Need to jab it above an inch. Either that or make it downshift... It also stops when the speed drops to 50- and it down shifts. Basically this happens when you are in highest gear but not giving enough power to the engine. Currently 3rd day with car. Previous experience with this kind of noise was with a Volvo, and it was never solved until the day the gearbox died. After replacement sound was completely gone. Quite worried Ps. I know lugging the engine is bad, I dont do it often, nevertheless, the sound shouldn't be there or is it just the characteristic of the engine? Need some feedback before going to SC, just in case they say 'this is normal', need to know where to stand... This post has been edited by andrew9292: Feb 18 2017, 02:40 PM |

QUOTE(munlok30 @ Feb 21 2017, 09:39 PM) i would like to bu a new car , previously was driving kancil , viva and myvi .. My personal opinion it's 1 of the best choice based on the specs. Get the advance & you'll understand the difference between Premium & Advance. Bad reviews on the net YES but the car has a 5 year warranty so I wouldn't worry. The pros outweighs the cons. Common problem is noise from external when you drive fast. The car completely shuts down when reversing your car but it has never happened to me. I got my car 1 day b4 CNY & just drove above 1k. I've driven a Honda S2000 (picture in my profile), then Toyota Camry & now a Bezza but I'm not disappointed at all as now I mostly drive alone & it's damn economical right now thinking to upgrade to BEZZA advance .. did you think bezza it is a best choice ?? because my max budget is 50k only . any bad review of this bezza ?? |

QUOTE(y4ng @ Feb 23 2017, 09:09 AM) hahha, no no about the cable falling off. i meant was easy to find coins, keys, cards dropped on the bottom with lights on. anyway how u on and off? switch? cable or when u open and close door? Current config is when i push the start button the light turn on. I was thinking if i want to open the door then light up i must tap to the rooftop light circuit breaker. However not always i open door i want it to light up so I decided to just use the cigarette slot. And future i will add in a couple timer and sensor (I know abit electronics) so that when morning the system will not light up and at night it will light up for a duration of time that i set. I can also bypass that timer if i want to. By the way the LED light i can change color or beat arouding to music. There is a remote to on or off the light. This post has been edited by hddexpreso: Feb 23 2017, 09:20 AM |

I think you guys judge FC wrongly. Should use L for reference and not RM since RM changes every month. Anyway, I get about 350-400km for 30L of RON95.
Btw, anyone changed their tires? Any idea if can have it wider? |

Use this software (Fuely) to monitor you fuel consumption.
Example to calculate back the milage consume you can take the km/l multiple with l Example my last fuel consumtion is 17.6km/l and total price Ron95 is RM 58.18 for 25.295l so to know how much km is very easy. 17.6km/l x 25.295l = 456.7km So Ron95 RM 58.18 for 456km Always reset you car average and trip every fuel up. Else it will show you wrong information. |

Hi everyone. I've signed the HP agreement on Friday. Usually how long we got the car? Or it depends on the color/trim?

QUOTE(noobiedonkey @ Feb 26 2017, 05:25 PM) I think you guys judge FC wrongly. Should use L for reference and not RM since RM changes every month. Anyway, I get about 350-400km for 30L of RON95. Changed mine from 165 to 185... Wider n more stability.... Not bad.... The only con is louder tyre noise since bezza sound proof is very badBtw, anyone changed their tires? Any idea if can have it wider? |

QUOTE(xperiaVuser @ Feb 27 2017, 01:16 AM) Do you wait till the red fuel indicator to light up or just calculate from the estimated mileage left? Is it a good idea to always wait till the red fuel gauge to fuel up before filling up? No i always top up when let 2 more bar. Also if everyone read the manual book in there got stated recommended to fuel up when fuel only left 1/4. It is bad idea to wait for the red fuel gauge to light up because you may damage your fuel pump. The software allow you to enter by odometer value. It will keep record of your previous odometer and when you key in the new odometer value it will show you the correct km/l value. From there you can calculate back any fuel up day on how far you travel. Car fuel consumption is base on your driving patterns. I notice that if you accelerate slowly and maintain the rpm below 2k then you can get better millage. So far bezza fuel consumption for me is very good. |

QUOTE(djandrew @ Feb 10 2017, 09:27 AM) older generation im not so sure bro, as i know previous lagi best version is already using hydraulic clutch lol. To be honest cable clutch is the best! hydraulic clutch can't set high or low engagement point (no freeplay). i still miss cable clutch. yeah im a manual freak too Cable clutch is too way keras, even worse if the car is aging, cable clutch very bad if you stuck in traffic jam, even my lorry hydraulic clutch feel much better than those crappy cable clutch. Almost no feel at all to press clutch even easy to press only use 1 toe finger. |

High rpm car = bad fuel consumption! for manual vehicle, I start to change shift at 1.5K rpm and 6th gear only 1.5k rpm @ 100km/h. My driving style also can achieve 12-16 km/ liter diesel with 4.0 liter engine. Car fuel consumption is base on your driving patterns. How many litres do you need usually to fill full tank from your 2 bars?Car fuel consumption is base on your driving patterns. QUOTE(xperiaVuser @ Feb 27 2017, 05:24 PM) That's quite a big difference. Maybe I didn't word my question nicely. Let's say you are at the petrol station now with the fuel gauge showing 2 bars. How many litres of fuel would it take to fill it up to full tank? How many clicks before you stop the pump? My last fuel up was 25.29L for 2 bar to full tank. I use three click method. |

I always pump Ron95 from 2 bars to 5 or 6 bars only Rm30.
Which is recommended pump from 2 bars to 5 or 6 bars or pump to full tank? Well tomorrow we should ready before they raise the petrol prices again.... |

Sigh.. a sharp splinter of wood just pierced and lodged into the side of my stock ecopia.. just barely three months of use. Now have to see over the next few days if it actually punctured the sidewall or not

Any recommended place to install body kit? Area Selangor/Kajang. Please recommend.
Apparently the 3 week delay (still not getting car yet) because gear up accessory still not ready. Planning to just switch dealer and install aftermarker bodykit. |

QUOTE(y4ng @ Mar 2 2017, 02:43 PM) car model too new to troubleshoot for any known long term problem. overall, problems are minor (please view in front page, we document it when we face it) I buy for my wife working purpose only............u get what you pay for. if can afford more can always get god cars right? most of the owners in LYN happy with their car. for underpower, cannot do much la, nobody willing to install turbo or bore their blocks as yet. want power? go for myvi 1.5, really nice to drive for this price range. sound proof just add what you can afford from aftermarket, still cheaper than god cars. i drive to east coast really can feel underpower when climbing hills, but i change to 2 or 3 can liao. a good alternative (for this price range) would be: 1. iriz 1.6 basic 2. persona 1.6 basic 3. myvi 1.5 4. saga 1.3 5. the new Z650 - 2 seater, open air, 0-100 fastest among all. but maintenance oso the most expensive 6. 2nd hand sushi or kimchis i wouldnt recommend proton until they change out their campro engine (i was a campro user previously). choose bezza because of fuel consumption, low maintenance cost, low in car price. considering buy with cash |

QUOTE(y4ng @ Mar 2 2017, 02:50 PM) from bezza fb group, find this guy name Summer Ooi, working for Carzone. Shah Alam area seems to be cheapest among all. Try calling him at +6012 524 6911. If you get advance, it is about RM650 for front and back gear up (side skirt dont need cos it comes with it) full set i think RM900 or 950. Try my agent Daniel Perodua +6016 323 6465 @ sri petaling. Just say Yang Blue Bezza. Can press for additional discount. Thx bro/sis. This post has been edited by grinnfrownin: Mar 2 2017, 02:56 PM |

QUOTE(grinnfrownin @ Mar 2 2017, 02:40 PM) Any recommended place to install body kit? Area Selangor/Kajang. Please recommend. Can you get the car without the body kit first? I ordered GearUp Dynamic Body Kit but it will only have stock in coming 2 weeks time. My dealer got the car for me first and later when the bodykit arrives then only go for the installation. Apparently the 3 week delay (still not getting car yet) because gear up accessory still not ready. Planning to just switch dealer and install aftermarker bodykit. I got my car from DMM Sales Sdn Bhd HQ in Shah Alam. Submit documents on Wed, Thurs loan approved, next Tue sign loan agreement, Wed register car, Sat collect car. All done under 10 working days. So far worst experience with Perodua Dealer at Bangi.
Had a friend signed loan 8/2 and until today did not received car. After signing, con agent promised week after but on that day say cannot deliver, ask for more time. Waited 2 more week until 28/2 (bad idea, should've cancel loan) and friend took leave. The day before con agent offer to deliver car to house! But on 28, an hour before meeting time he say cannot deliver. Stellar con. So on 1/3 we had to do his job and call up his manager and threaten to cancel loan. Same day friend name registered to car in JPJ system and tomorrow promised to deliver. Apparently the cause is gear up body kit not ready for installation but agent never offer to receive car first then install later. The car could've been delivered 3 weeks ago. The problem is whole time is the con agent give various excuses such as wrong order, no rolling fund, custom not approved, etc etc. All lies, the manager gave the real reason(supposedly? 3 weeks is still 3 w). G.A. Trading Sdn Bhd 301262K Jalan 4/12, Seksyen 4, 43650 Bandar Baru Bangi Agent:AmXXXXXX 01422574XX /rant Sorry. Mistake was not cancel loan earlier. |

QUOTE(grinnfrownin @ Mar 2 2017, 09:11 PM) So far worst experience with Perodua Dealer at Bangi. Bro please refer to my last post on previous page regarding March discount. If not mistaken, there is a clause there, if car is registered on march, regardless the booking date, its entitled for march discount. QUOTE(Kc66 @ Mar 3 2017, 02:15 AM) Tried resetting the meter Everytime I fuel up... It will show 20-22km/l but ain't gonna last long lol.... It still goes back to 15-16km/l.. hahaha I think i know what you mean already. It is normal. Is it when you check the average FC show 20-22km/l, your trip is below 10km? If yes the answer is simple because the Average FC means average....so the longer you drive it will calculate the average. The best time to check your FC is before your top up. Normally before i top up my trip will show around 400km. So from that you can get the acurate FC. |

If near by still can not maybe ley fob battery dead. Try take the key fob near to the push start button and press it. 3. If all the above can not works maybe car battery dead or the sensor for the break pedal not contact when press. The only way to fix is bring to SC. |

I would like to add-on to the list of common problems which is known (list in the first page).
3.From P to R/ N/ D is very hard to engage : whenever the car is parked in P, I need to press on the brake before I can move the gear to R/ N/ D. If not it will not let me move the gear from P. Also I had encountered another problem which is not listed in the first page yet : If the head audio unit is stucked/ frozen. U will not able to turn it off when ur car is turned off (manual off the audio button will not work too). Solution : u will need to reset the audio unit by pressing a pinhole button in the audio unit and hold it for awhile (can refer to the manual book). So far I had this problem twice in 7 months of driving. |

Yes what I'm saying is when it's from P position, I cannot move it to another gears without pressing the brake and the button on the gear lever (locking). Other than that I don't even have the problem on the gear's movement like what u're describing ... so maybe u need to check to the service centre. My problem is even I step on brake pedal, it is hard for me to change from P to other gear. Unlike the smooth transition from D to N or other gear. This post has been edited by chronims: Mar 6 2017, 06:07 PM |

That happened to me too, until i figured out that engaging the handbrake to the fullest prevents that from happening. At least in my car. Now P to any other gear is dead smooth. My problem is even I step on brake pedal, it is hard for me to change from P to other gear. Unlike the smooth transition from D to N or other gear. |

QUOTE(chronims @ Mar 6 2017, 04:18 PM) I would like to add-on to the list of common problems which is known (list in the first page). chronims,3.From P to R/ N/ D is very hard to engage : whenever the car is parked in P, I need to press on the brake before I can move the gear to R/ N/ D. Did you press the gear knob button when shifting the gear? For the headunit, if you are not in Park gear, and hit the start/stop button, your car will be in "ACC" mode, and hence the radio will be switched on. To shift off everything in the car, shift to Park gear first, then hit the start/stop button to switch off your car. Hope this helps. Read the manual. |

So far this only occurs 2 times, so it's definitely an intermittent issue. |

I hate bezza steering coz always accidently press horn when turning the wheel when reverse parking. Who the fuck design the steering with the horn so big one?
Another thing is have to stand very near to rear bonnet if want to open with keyless button. The proximity sensor so short meh? Why the inside wheel arch show body color? I thought need to blacked out or Tar it out to avoid rust to the car body? Hish... |

Hi Guys. For periodic service. Every 10,000 except the first 5000km inspection
How to perodua decide the warranty void or not. Let's say do first service at 11,000km. Or first service at 7months? Is the any clear cut explanation of the grace period? Is it must before 6month and must not exceed 10,000km? Even exceed 1km or 1 day (whichever earlier) also consider void? Thanks |

How about the time frame. For those who rarely use the car. Let's say only 7000km but service at 7th or 8th month? |

I only change my gear when I fully stop the car. Agreed. Anyway If the gear knob has a gear button..I don't think u can shift from P to R/N to R without pressing the button. Danger to yourself, others on the road and to your engine. Imagine u cruise on highway and gear was touch accidentally and it shift to R I said already that the head audio unit is frozen and I always shift to P when I'm parked. I said also that it happens only 2 times in 7 months of driving this Bezza that my head audio unit got frozen therefore cannot turn the radio off even the car is fully turned off. Button is there to prevent accidental gear shift as such.. However, no prob to shift without pressing the button from N to D to L.. Heck u can even shift directly back to N from L gear (if any and of course will pass by D gear Toyota, however, gears stopper are arrange like a staircase so no gear button to press and gotta move in specific direction to shift gear. |

anybody knows where to get / download bezza service manual. This is the manual used by mechanics, and not the one we get with the cars. |

Also since we are on the subject of service, i'm gonna send in my Bezza for her first 5000km inspection at Perodua Segambut on this coming Wednesday.. registered her on the last week of Dec so now is slightly less than 3 months, but more than 5000km reached liao, so by Wed, should be around 5200km like that.
Any other bros also use Perodua Segambut? It will be my first time there. Anything to note? |

Maybe change my mind from buying Axia to Bezza, saw the axia burned news in Facebook.
Previously I choose Axia because of the fc comsumption is good, how bezza compare to it? Bezza also save petrol right if I only choose 1.0 variant..? I mainly just use for working by the way. |

QUOTE(Keff @ Mar 11 2017, 11:44 AM) Maybe change my mind from buying Axia to Bezza, saw the axia burned news in Facebook. Fuel consumption for the Axia is slightly better when compared to bezza but only slightly better....not much of a difference. Since you're taking the 1.0l might as well consider the 1.3l since now they are having discount of 2k+...44.8k - 2k+ price for auto premium x which is the medium variant is just add 2 to 3k to move from 1l to 1.3l...worth considering factoring in the loan u will take the monthly installment isn't that much. Frankly speaking as a SA I haven't sold much of the 1.0l for bezza. But if you're driving short distance maybe 1.0l is suitable if you have another bigger litre car for long distance. That is if you're really sure you are just going to use the car for short distance drive...which I do not think so Previously I choose Axia because of the fc comsumption is good, how bezza compare to it? Bezza also save petrol right if I only choose 1.0 variant..? I mainly just use for working by the way. |

Hi Guys.
Most likely will get my Bezza 1.3 Adv (Silver) next week Just want to ask: 1. How to know if the VSA is on or off? Got indicator? 2. New car need to do engine break-in? How to do it? 3. Thinking to buy these items for the new car: - boot tray - tire lock nut - carpet > Anyone knows good shop in Serdang/Seri Kembangan to get these items? > Carpet should get the rubber type or coil type better? Price range? 4. Anyone install the arm rest? Does it fit 100% and work properly? Thank you. |

Yes, there is an indicator if it's off, not a good idea to turn it off, unless you go road with the car. Manual says don't go more than 90km/h and vary your speed and don't stay constant speed for too long. I got the armrest ABS plastic installed, there is some obstruction if you need to release and pull the handbrake, not a biggie though. Armrest is not that stable, need to mod the base a little to make it firm and steady.

Agreed with your point, I don't expect much from this car since the price I paid is less than 50k. Yet for this smallest Sedan in the market, interior is surprisingly comfy and most important - will not buat hal. U get amazing fuel consumption too. So beli Bezza utk kurangkan guna ranger utk save cost..hehehe.. And i am amazed that Bezza has comfortable wide space for a sedan-compact car.. |

Personally, I prefer rubber mat over coil, as rubber mat especially those with high sides, can trap rain water easily. Suitable for our climate i think.1. Finished by 9.30am. Didnt pay anything, and they didnt try to sell me anything. Service Representative was very friendly, kindly explained the process to me, and recorded my remarks on my car issues (tik tik sound) professionally. Also free breakfast (Mee Hoon) and coffee provided in the lounge. Couldnt go into the workshop area, but from what I could see from the lounge, the technician working my car seemed to do a thorough inspection. Tik tik sound is gone, for now.for 5000km inspection, need to do appointment with service center o not ? how long does it take for this inspection ? Thanks |

QUOTE(-Aktan- @ Mar 15 2017, 10:47 PM) Thanks bro, meaning if my phone play Spotify , the car speaker will play the music right? How about Waze etc.? Thanks for yr feedback Advance version player once you connected thru Bluetooth you can do the following things below1. Listen to music (Spotify, youtube, facebook, etc) imagine a bluetooth speaker. It will function like a Bluetooth speaker. 2. Receive and make phone call (Audio will play thru car speaker) 3. Waze, google map, or any navigation software and music in the same time (Waze, google map or any navigation software audio only) Basically just imagine your phone speakers is your car speaker once connected to the Bluetooth player. Only sound no video streaming via Bluetooth. |

Thankful for the information compiled on Bezza servicing to date. Will be going for my 10KM servicing this Saturday so these information will come in handy. Let's see if I will have to quote them in the event I "kena potong". Btw guys, how long did your 10KM servicing took? If it's not too long I'll probably plant myself there with a handheld instead of going off for breakfast.

Trapo is really overrated.
I owned it, and it is not any better than regular car rubber mat. |

Hi.
1. Want to know For Bezza Advanced, to turned off the car, the gear must be on P (Parking Mode)? If the gear on N (Neutral), the car cannot be turned off? 2. Anyone try this sound insulation tape http://www.11street.my/productdetail/korea...-strip-16743564 It "fills" the gap between doors. does it helps? Thanks |

Hi fellas,
I'm planning to buy a new car, my first one and its either the Axia Advance or the Bezza Advance. I plan to buy the car sometime during the Hari Raya celebrations this year - There will be sales then. Can anyone here who owns the latest Bezza Advance tell me what is it like to drive ? How's the fuel consumption and what are the common issues ? Cheers. |

QUOTE(Tawneys Bimorph @ Mar 19 2017, 10:29 PM) Hi fellas, Bezza Advance owner here. All in all a good value for money car. Keep in mind it is not a new Vios nor a new City.. and so you will feel and hear the road a bit more than those vehicles. The key here is the affordable price and maintenance cost, and good FC (i get avg of 17.8-18km/l with light-footed driving in KL city), while being a reliable vehicle to get you from point a to point b.I'm planning to buy a new car, my first one and its either the Axia Advance or the Bezza Advance. I plan to buy the car sometime during the Hari Raya celebrations this year - There will be sales then. Can anyone here who owns the latest Bezza Advance tell me what is it like to drive ? How's the fuel consumption and what are the common issues ? Cheers. FC really depends on your driving style and personally for me i really go out of my way to practice "eco-driving", basically i just turtle around. Most issues seem to revolve around the road noise.. which i got used to, honestly. Some say its underpowered on slopes, i say not really, once you get the accelerator all the way down, the 1.3 engine is really nifty, the auto gearbox takes a few seconds to downshift, and up the slope u race, but of course there goes your "eco-driving" out the window.. so most slopes i just bite my pride and go like a turtle.. all for the sake of FC. I havent had any problems with gearbox yet.. if its really serious, im sure perodua will cover it. My gearbox does make a pretty audible whining sound from like 60-80km/h.. but its been like that since day 1 so i dont think its a problem (yet).. just another layer of sound to add to the road noise. Read thru this thread or the V1 thread to get a better idea of what other users faced. Ultimately do a good testdrive (by good i mean try to get on a highway and do at least 90) and really know what kind of car you are getting with the bezza. So you dont get disappointed by any high expectations. This post has been edited by ethangool: Mar 19 2017, 11:33 PM |

QUOTE(dreamers1016 @ Mar 19 2017, 08:09 PM) What gearbox problem? Can specify? The Bezza shutdown if move to R? I got my car last Sat. I asked this before purchase. The SA told me they had a meeting and the issue is oredi resolved. As for the car, same like other has mentioned, road noise is louder compare to Myvi. Maybe sound insulation will reduce the noise. I feel that i need to always correct the steering. maybe the alignment. Otherwise i think it is a good car. If it is urgent to buy, better u buy in this month. Otherwise u will have to wait until May/June for Raya promotion. Can wait and see if Raya promotion has higher rebate (not sure bout this) |

Haha today is Monday somemore. usually anything below 1k RPM for normal car easily mati enjin, but can easily be adjusted if by throttle cable. guess their out of factory setting for 1st few batches like that, but so far personally nvr mati enjin before. damn bored at work right now. But no i dont thing its placebo effect.. it's definitely off by a bit. But yeah like you said its just annoying. I more or less got used to it. |

If you are not happy with your salesman, give us the details, we tag their shop service in the front page so others can be aware of the situation. If I don't get my car this week then will let you guy tag it here. Thank |

Hi fellas, between the Bezza Advance and the Saga Premium, (new one, not the old FLX) which one is the better buy ?
1) Saga looks a lot better than Bezza. 2) Saga is bettee to drive, better handling and more comfortable than Bezza. 3) Saga is roughly RM 5K cheaper than Bezza. BUT... 1) Bezza is more fuel efficient. 2) Bezza is safer. 5 Star NCAP vs 4 Star NCAP 3) Bezza has more tech and leather. 4) Perodua generally has better service & maintenance costs as well as less quality issues, though this is not always the case. So yeah, its not so cut and dry between the two. Any useful info that could tip the scales in either cars favor could be useful and would be appreciated. |

Agree with your point there except I think bezza looks nicer than the new saga. All is base on your personal peference. Also look on the long term such as resale value and after sales services. Best is if you can test drive both and you decided which one to pick. 1) Saga looks a lot better than Bezza. 2) Saga is bettee to drive, better handling and more comfortable than Bezza. 3) Saga is roughly RM 5K cheaper than Bezza. QUOTE(Tawneys Bimorph @ Mar 21 2017, 08:58 PM) Hi fellas, between the Bezza Advance and the Saga Premium, (new one, not the old FLX) which one is the better buy ? I know this is purely and highly based on personal preference, and im not trying to be a troll..1) Saga looks a lot better than Bezza. Still in my own personal opinion i must say i think the bezza (with high "butt" and all) is alot more sporty looking than the new saga, which to me doesnt look very inspiring when I've seen it on the road (saga looks a bit boring). But just me. That said i cant really add much constructive feedback to your question except the following considerations : 1) VVT vs. VVT-i , I'm not sure, will it make a big difference? 2) the myvi has pretty high secondhand (resale) value due to its popularity. Personally im hoping the bezza will ride on Perodua's current popularity and also turn out to have a high valuation. Correct me if im wrong, but i dont think the same could be said of Proton. Thats just my 2 cents This post has been edited by ethangool: Mar 21 2017, 10:18 PM |

QUOTE(y4ng @ Mar 21 2017, 11:48 PM) i wanted bright yellow cos was driving a black car, so blue was the closesr. Red reminds me of taxi somehow When I told my wife that i saw an article about bezza is used as taxi, she straight away exclude red colour from her preferences (she preferred sugar brown, ocean blue and lava red). Finally we opt for blue, because our dealer said need to wait for sugar brown stock. |

Don't let what others say affect your decision when it comes to color selection.
In general when you look at color choices for cars, you will observe the following - Chinese prefer to buy black/darker colors or silver color (somehow they think that these colors are easier to maintain, easier to resell) whereas Malays and Indians are more adventurous - brighter/striking colors. This is not to sound racist, but if you're a Chinese and you decide to go with brighter colors, your Cinapek friends would probably mock you. Note that I'm a Chinese myself, I own the Ocean Blue and I've been constantly teased by a few friends who have narrow mindsets or practice annoying stereotypical ways of thinking. In short, just buy what you feel like it! It's your car! The other day I ran into a red Bezza which looked pretty cool due to its black rims. That's a sexy combo! |

QUOTE(Tawneys Bimorph @ Mar 21 2017, 08:58 PM) Hi fellas, between the Bezza Advance and the Saga Premium, (new one, not the old FLX) which one is the better buy ? Already test drive both car? If you're fine with proton and the cvt slow respond, go ahead with saga...see both saga n bezza page in fb if you want to know more about the car 1) Saga looks a lot better than Bezza. |

The ATF oil (gear oil) itself is so expensive, will cost u RM240 (RM60/liter, saga needs 4 liter!)but for myvi & bezza ATF oil only around RM80 will get bezza advance & join this group later, hehe |

One of my wife coworker just knew about me booking for a bezza. Suddenly he say bezza got so many problem, flat passenger seat, gearbox problem, ugly booty, etc. I just keep quiet. I suspect he is a proton fan boy. The next day he bash bezza again and try to make me regret my decision

I have both proton last generation and bezza advance. So I'm qualified to give a good comparison.
Proton, good: more comfortable seats, more powerful aircon. I prefer hydraulic powered steering coz it is more comfortable when making minor adjustments, better handling-you feel more in control when steering. Bezza, good: better fc, quieter engine and cabin, I prefer auto than cvt coz auto more responsive, and its a safer car coz got vsc If not for safety proton is a good buy overall. But bezza wins at the end. |

Can confirm.. am Chinese, did buy Sugar Brown coz I think it's easier to maintain and easier to sell later. Also I'm not that adventurous..That said, saw a few Red Bezzas on the road and wow they do look gorgeous. Nothing like taxi red.. more like Ferrari red. My 2013 Saga FLX SE which just turn into 4 yrs of age already having most of problems that u are mentioned above : 1. the kriuk2 noise from the absorber & driver's door 2. power window - when go to sc, they just put some lubricant 3. the auto gearbox warning indicator (for CVT) keep pop-up - already reset it at sc for 2 times + make some fuse replacement for RM200 but still happening, WTF! 4. proton after-sales sucks big time! (even with 1 week appointment) |

QUOTE(y4ng @ Mar 22 2017, 09:32 PM) ICE very expensive to play. Standard ok la, slightly better than myvi. Soft a bit for bluetooth conversation. When raining, sound proofing sucks so audio oso sucks. I beg to differ. I was a first gen Myvi user and the Bezza is a tremendous upgrade from that. I'm not sure if there any differences between the Bezza variants, I'm gonna think that technically all variants should be able to grant audio control to a certain extent. Not saying that the sound system is amazing, in terms of clarity it's average but the bass is pretty powerful if you push it up a few notches (then combo with your phone's music EQ), you should be able to have quite an enjoyable music session.I agree with the fact that the sound proofing sucks, it sucks way more than Myvi so yes, when it rains you really need to blast your music to hear it. |

QUOTE(ethangool @ Mar 23 2017, 09:19 AM) Yup, Proton bad history I think is the main reason people avoiding it. I mean Proton Persona got a good looks and Saga for me is ugly but for it price, I can't complain much. The interior is not bad. I also contemplating between bezza and persona at first. But what make me afraid is the quality and services. After researching and asking lots of friend, they will always suggest perodua, even the one who driving proton car. Although they improve the engine a bit, and the build quality is getting better, the problem is how proton handle problematic car if something happen. From past history, we know how perodua being responsible if something bad happen to your car. Send it to SC and they will take care of it. Instead of hiding it, they will try to solve it because they wanna preserve their good image. Thats a good attitude. Proton on the other hand will try to hide it and ignore the problem. If proton learn from perodua, I bet more people will buy their car. Stop avoiding the problem. Face it and solve the problem.BTW, just sign my bank loan yesterday. Waiting for the car. |

I think because many ppl want to feel special In general when you look at color choices for cars, you will observe the following - Chinese prefer to buy black/darker colors or silver color (somehow they think that these colors are easier to maintain, easier to resell) whereas Malays and Indians are more adventurous - brighter/striking colors. Ocean Blue and Sugar Brown only available for premium X/Advance. Easily differential between 'premium' category. But i think more than 50% of ppl bought premium X/Advance. |

Persona has curtain airbags, wifi and other features was very tempting. In terms of paper specs it seemed persona was the better buy for a little bit extra. What won me over was the reputation of perodua vs proton. Previously a proton driver, I decided to switch over to perodua. So far very happy with the bezza with only few minor issues to tackle at the next inspection.BTW, just sign my bank loan yesterday. Waiting for the car. |

QUOTE(Kc66 @ Mar 25 2017, 09:43 PM) I remember bezza have this speed sensing wipers.... Auto sensing is only adjust the speed of the wiper. You have to turn on the wiper then it will adjust accordingly to the speed you are driving. However sometimes i need to switch to manually faster speed. To do this just push down another level. How does it work? Does it turn on itself or we have to turn it on manually? Been driving for 2 months but it never auto turn on before Basically the wiper step are below: Up: wiper only move 1 time Normal: wiper off Down 1: auto wiper acording to speed. Slower the speed slower the interval. Down 2: faster wiping speed. Auto wiper and auto light normally come together because it is a sensor normally put at the rearview mirror. This can be seen on luxury car. Third party parts do have on ebay. You search for universal car rain sensor. |

Hi, quick question to Bezza owners here,
anyone came from Myvi 1.3? or having both cars? comparing Bezza 1.3 & Myvi 1.3 based on paper spec, BEZZA 1.3 Max. output (DIN) kW[PS]/rpm 70/6000 Max. torque (DIN) Nm[kg.m]/rpm 121/4000 MYVI 1.3 Max. output kW/rpm / 67/6000 Maxtorque Nm/rpm / 117/4400 Does that mean Bezza is better in terms of acceleration and power than MYVI 1.3? Thanks in advance for any feedback, thanks. |

Thanks in advance for any feedback, thanks. Over-taking a car, Myvi way way way better than Bezza. so Myvi acceleration is mile ahead of Bezza. Comfort, Myvi far better with wider seat and leg room. Why i change Myvi to Bezza. Of coz car was old and the old Myvi safety was terrible, the worse milo tin rating. if Myvi front impact, not just the A pillar will bend, the whole engine will push into passenger cabin. that why you barely see any Myvi driver survive front impact. I choose Bezza for better safety and VSA is a must for me to buy a car. i don't go for Persona as i still not have confident on the engine reliability. |

Yup...can't expect much for a Malaysian build body. We still far behind compare to others car producer. But it does the job. I still remember several years ago when a lorry hit my father's 1975 mitsubishi galant. My father car just got a small dent but the 2 tonne lorry where knock over to the side. |

QUOTE(CapyBara96 @ Mar 27 2017, 09:49 PM) Anyone noticed a very soft plastic-plastic rattling sound on dashboard? Is not that noticeable but it's there..any solution? I had a similar sound which only came out when u go over bumpy surfaces. It comes and goes during the first few weeks. After that I don't hear it anymore. |

QUOTE(censett123 @ Mar 28 2017, 12:03 PM) It only happens when u shift from P to other R. Other gear shifting is very smooth. Sohai sc told me need to step on break pedal fully before engage P, but it still happens. No.. not just step the brake pedal.. fully step brake pedal, put to P, fully engage handbrake to maximum, and by maximum I mean really really max, then only release brake pedal. If the handbrake was really strongly engage and the car doesn't move even slightly, the next morning when you change from P to R it should be smooth. Works for me.It's only when I did not engage handbrake to max, and the car moves slightly in P, then later P to R very hard. This post has been edited by ethangool: Mar 28 2017, 01:11 PM |

QUOTE(y4ng @ Mar 28 2017, 02:20 PM) last time when they use mineral or semi syn, it was at 5k or 7.5k right? so save time but double up cost should be correct. if dont wanna follow, just go outside and service and for-go the warranty, an alternative some choose cos car not that easy to rosak wan. but myvi also cheap. tenk service once, rm180 saja |

My friend told me, new car shouldn't have any problem even after 5 days without starting the engine. If ur battery is new, u can park without starting ur engine up to around 1-2 weeks. I used to travel around 1 week+ and when I come back no problem to start the car. |

When I ask the SA, he say no need, just wait for service checkup. Sorry for the dumb question since this is my first car. |

QUOTE(y4ng @ Apr 1 2017, 01:18 AM) dry cell dont need to fill battery water. It is ok to leave long time without starting, but i usually ask someone to warm my car once every few days when i am travelling. If i know i am away fr more than a month, i take out the terminal and manually lock the car. Good practice will make your battery life last longer. Usually u will gain more experience buying a 2nd hand car. Bezza 1.3 advance auto got dry cell? I thought it is a wet cell.Bezza advance battery is slightly more expensive compared to normal bezza cos of the start stop fuel feature ya. |

QUOTE(jusTinMM @ Apr 1 2017, 03:15 PM) 1.3 advance...my rear windscreen start to have bubbles... lots of tiny bubble....what should i do? complain to sc? My SA told me that if the tint got tiny bubble just go to the service center, it should have warranty. Bezza use sahara-x tint with have 5 years warranty that cover bubbling, cracking, peeling, decolourisation, delamination and demetalisation. Claims should be made 30 days of the occurence. But you must bring the tinted warranty booklet. If no booklet, the warranty is invalide. The booklet come when you buy the car. Its the thin booklet. |

Hi,
I drove a long distance (total 300km) last week. Today morning when i start my car, there is a strange whizzing sound. After driving to office the sound is still there. The sound still there when i stop the car. It only gone when i shut down engine. Should be coming from engine compartment. Anyone encounter this before? How to fix it? Thanks. |
