i did complaint the same issue to MCMC sometime around end of Dec2020, the reply i got from maxis is very similar,

We have further checked on this matter and our finding shows your mobile number is yet activated with VoLTE. We apologize for the earlier updates. We would like to inform you that VoLTE provisioning still in progress and this will be complete by batches in our network.
However, we regret to inform that we are unable to provide with an exact timeframe for this process to complete.

We hope above clarifies your concerns and any inconvenience is much regretted.

fortunately, few days later after receive feedback from maxis, my VoLTE is activated.

Yeah or u can simply dial 123 to observe 4G stays put on the icon.
Alot of people expect to see VoLTE icon like Android without knowing already on VoLTE.

End of the year, phone call on 2G only

Anyone else getting constant call failed on Maxis volte ?

It turns out the other phone rings, but I don’t hear the dial-tone and only get this call failed warning

how is it the volte for u guys? is it only me feel ntg much difference?

Me here recently 2 days facing it again only once in while . My dads maxis VoLTE doesn’t enable still 3G calling is shit

But Digi VoLTE is best in telco to implement it calls always connect in miliseconds after you click call button crystal clear quality I’m been using Digi VoLTE for 3 years but not sure about umobile as I haven’t used UM sim

Yes on my iPhone, either recipient cannot hear or I had to end the call and call back again
Furthermore show 4G, but the speed don't feel like is 4G at all

Just for data won't get interrupt because of switching between 3g and 4g when using hotspot

damnnn i thought only im having problem with maxis volte, just mnp to maxis few months ago, 3 years back I used digi volte have 0 problem, then switch to umobile, have to call cs to enable volte for me, no problem throughout the year also.

now I noticed maxis also have volte, but still not available to me, I sent whatsapp complaint, took them 1 week to reply me nothing, filed complain to mcmc, no response, called 123, they say will roll out phase by phase but no specific timeframe.

what I can say is goodbye maxshit going back to lousy umobile or digi after my quota end.

super important la those bobo friends like to call phone number de, everytime I play game in front of them they just call my phone like a monkey then I dc terus lose the game

+1 on this, iirc digi is the first telco to have volte in Malaysia, been using digi's service steadily then umobile came in, so I switched to umobile, now chg to the most expensive telco in Malaysia but no volte, customer service sucks also.

Yes was the first, Digi was second then U Mobile and Unifi Mobile followed by third and fourth. VoLTE wasn't really stable at first for these telcos too, and then it improved over the years.

Whereas Maxis and Celcom are very late to the party, and seeing how Malaysian telcos like to slack off as always, it will probably take some time to improve. If it wasn't for the JENDELA plan, I bet they wouldn't even bother to launch VoLTE this year.

There’s no option to enable/ disable VoLTE on samsung device

Samsung does not provide that option, unfortunately.
One way is to force phone to 3G only on the mobile network setting but kinda crazy to do so ...
