Okay.....cable billing confirm exceed free length, so this direct paid to contractor.....how about the installation RM200? I thought it suppose to be exempted for unifi advance promotion right now?

So..., other than those cable length billing* for my first month billing....I need to pay deposit of RM179 and monthly bill of RM179.

What else?  nod.gif

Why are they refusing to lay cable? The back lane jammed or something? confused.gif

I'm waiting for the TM engineers to lay cable at the residence. I hope they did all that by March! bangwall.gif

Backlane is not jammed, there is an unused pole on the backlane for copper phone line connectivity (no longer in use) for lorong 6 housing.
They said, "Jauh sangat lah, tak boleh, leceh nanti, sistem kata kena sambung dengan lorong 5 punya fiber."

=.=.....but lorong 5 = no fiber distribution white box, only naked fiber optic cable right in front of my house staying at the top of pole since february 2016.

It's just a few meters, I assume? Their mentality is just to work for the sake of working. THey promise high broadband penetration rate, and yet they give shit excuses about "too far" and "too mafan". bangwall.gif

they have the same problem when our house in Sg Buloh is having troubles with the back lane canals - they didn't put the cabling project on hold, but immediately cancel it. They are fucking wasting our time also! bangwall.gif

I think there is like 30-40 meters to link lorong 6 fiber pole* to the backlane pole and into my house.

TM just doesn't wanna do it.

Can you pester them to do it? It seems that this is the only way out. Maybe you can gather some of the guys who lives alongside your lorong and call them. smile.gif

-.- Doesn't work. Not to mention I am the only one who actually inquire about unifi status at my lorong 5.
Plus, those neighbours actually discussed to share my line while paying 'little' amount of money to me.
That IF I can get unifi in first place....

just register your interest at Unifi portal, also your neighbour. When the technician came my house to install Unifi late last month, he was saying there is only 8 ports per row of house (terrace house) at my area. I am the fifth in that row to install. If all the 8 ports are taken, they will only install new ports when there is enough interest for Unifi within that row.

That's what i was told, how accurate it is I am not sure though, just sharing what I heard.

Hi, those who have their UNIFI installed recently. Did you have to do thumb print biometric verification before/after installation? Just got a call from the reseller to get my thumb print verification.
