Hi guys, Im going to book for the all new honda city 2017 facelift, but im quite confuse for the maintenance cost.
I saw some receipts posted here but there's no one similar to the cost price in their website.
Hopefully someone can explain me.

1) Engine oil +Drain Plug Washer = 79.14  is it the engine oil price ? 5000/7000/10000 oil ?
2) TransmissionFluid + Drainplug + Washer = 67.74,  is it the auto transmission oil ? Is it so cheap ?  (i have my gen2 cps which cost around rm250)
and if so , how come the transmission fluid to be change after 160000km/96 months.
3) Is there any other hidden parts cost
4) Is it compulsory to change any parts stated in the web or advise by the honda service centre itself ?

thankyou  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif
*
0-20w engine oil Rm130+ , drain plug Rm3+ .. Rm79.14 engine oil is mineral based engine oil ,not really recommended .

Cvt fluid Rm130+ .... change every 40k interval ... but I change on 30k interval ..

no hidden part .

10-30k km , engine oil , washer drain, air filter, oil filter . other no need.

other than 80k km which need to change fuel strainer , Rm250.

Dont worry. When you get ur car,  ur SA or svc ctr will highly recommend you to install pedal lock and must be via their "panel" to ensure warranty is intact. But price will be higher  lar...

Overall i'm happy with the NVH and the new tranny. Now i'm trying to figure out how to get the battery fully charged so that i can test out the engine limit.  cool2.gif
*
Hint: You can't get full battery from normal driving. Please be aware that full bar battery would cut off regen braking, altering pedal feel most likely.
Max 5 bars, probably won't hit 6 unless very long downhill. You can turn on S mode and cruise highway at ~10-15% pedal or see RPM maintain at 2 bar/2000.

Google translate and read up everything (incl. pages on the left frame) on this website: https://sites.google.com/site/fithvs/home/battery/soc

Good luck and congrats rclxms.gif

White and black is the worst color. Whenever there's short spell drizzle after a few dry days, your car will looks like it just got off a dirt road.

Running 97, also jerking. It's disengaging the transmission to charge dem batteries.
It jerked because you accelerated after it disengage the gear, then it needs to re-engage again since you asked it to accelerate.
If you then let go the throttle because of the jerk, you will cause driver induced throttle oscillation which will jerk again due to deceleration -> disengage.
At least I think that is what is happening.
Just mentioned about this yesterday over here. Follow through the links; linked in that post for more info.

paultan excerpt:

Also, one difference compare to before is that while the clutch is engaged to the engine during acceleration and high-speed cruising, it’s disengaged from it during startup and low- to medium-speed cruising to reduce losses. The transmission is also disconnected from the engine during deceleration, and this improves energy regeneration.

This should happen more frequently when you are out of batteries (2 bar -> engine forced on to charge batteries) and at low speed/traffic jam crawl. Worse if on incline and worse if your driving style is to step the paddle lightly.

If it just jerked once, then that's not the case I described above. That's just disengaging the clutch/transmission like manual car. (probably)

danthe0 summed it up very well. It's common among DCT anyway , so yeah get used to it and don't do like a myvi kiss and crawl technique. Does not work especially if there is only 2 bar left in the battery

As expected I made an appointment for my 20k service and the date available is about one month in advance. Just to reconfirm, having about 2k above the standard 10k is in the safe zone right? Mine is fully synthetic.
