Same here.. Most of the agents that offer 7k discounts says more than 10 people waiting for car. Need to wait 2-3 months for that.

if hybrid car get water by flood, will the battery spoil? just like recently Penang flood.... if spoil, not cover by warranty right?

am considering normal city full spec or hybrid, hybrid no spare tire, and the puncture kit cost RM180, i have drive my current car for 7 years, and get tire puncture at least 5 times d, if every puncture need RM180 rclxub.gif

On the other hand, every time you fill up gas on the hybrid, you save about 50~70% (RM30~40) in petrol if compared to the non-hybrid models.

If city area and not serious puncture, don't remove the debris, then use the air compressor to inflate the tyre to test whether can maintain tyre pressure or not (got meter on compressor),
if very slowly losing air then you still can go to nearest tyre shop to get it patched. You can save that RM180 and just rely on the air compressor this way.
Not all cases have to use the RM180 but you are still forced to go to tyre shop.
Well, if your emergency leave costs >RM180 then welp.

Hi guys, Im going to book for the all new honda city 2017 facelift, but im quite confuse for the maintenance cost.
I saw some receipts posted here but there's no one similar to the cost price in their website.
Hopefully someone can explain me.

1) Engine oil +Drain Plug Washer = 79.14 is it the engine oil price ? 5000/7000/10000 oil ?
2) TransmissionFluid + Drainplug + Washer = 67.74, is it the auto transmission oil ? Is it so cheap ? (i have my gen2 cps which cost around rm250)
and if so , how come the transmission fluid to be change after 160000km/96 months. confused.gif confused.gif
3) Is there any other hidden parts cost
4) Is it compulsory to change any parts stated in the web or advise by the honda service centre itself ?

thankyou notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

If flood like penang, then even NA cars will have big big trouble. Looking at the water level, if both NA & hybrid inside, can say technically its flood loss for both cars. If live in penang, better buy CRV instead.

Ermm. No words to describe it, but personally it just makes it uglier. Suggest you use a carbon vinyl sticker and cover the glossy surface instead.

Dont worry. When you get ur car, ur SA or svc ctr will highly recommend you to install pedal lock and must be via their "panel" to ensure warranty is intact. But price will be higher lar...

Just got the car yesterday, took me about 2 weeks to get the car.

was having difficult decision to choose between the silver and MS, so end up getting MS since SA said got stock. And yea as expected, the HU is crappy, same goes with the speaker system.

Overall i'm happy with the NVH and the new tranny. Now i'm trying to figure out how to get the battery fully charged so that i can test out the engine limit. cool2.gif
