I'm serious and I'm comparing it to old Volvo and Merc as in 1991 Merc and 2000 Volvo. So a new two months old Honda shouldn't b making any noise if those super old car dun

I pump mine at 35 all tyres. The back should be 34 but I'm lazy and yeah for speeds more than 169km/h

Considering to get City V spec. Any chance if the upholstery can be changed to Leather Seat? Would it affect the i-side airbag? Also warranty?

Please kindly share your knowledge.
*
As long as you do not park under the hot sun as much then leather seat is ok. Advised not to go leather so not to burn ur butt and ur balls... nod.gif

QUOTE(huzfah @ Jan 13 2017, 08:48 PM)
Guys, between sc bandar baru bangi and puchong, which is better? My warranty wont void if i exceed 1000km right, like extra 500km 😅
*
First 1km? No worries. Go to the one nearest you. If changing oil always do before the 10km, 20km, etc

Honda always recommend Fully Sync oil 0-20w or 0-30w ..however some owner want to save RM50 by choosing mineral oil ...
*
So the only difference is RM50? If then better to choose fully sync. It is well worth it over the long run

It is good to hear if this solves your sound problem. Earlier today I heard a ticking sound that I never heard before. I spend like 10 mins to listen to where the sound comes from. Give up and got back to my car just now and noticed the sound is gone. Then when I turn on the wiper it is up again.

Anyone experienced similar sound? I swear I never heard this before.

by the way, how do you guys estimate the front distance during side parking, while the bonnet not visible?

dont shoot me as my very old car is able to see the bonnet at driver side.
*
Unlike the divider down below, you can naturally feel it if it is too close as you can see the other car. If you don't feel comfortable, just realign your car and try it again. Not seeing the bonnet doesn't matter because there is always a gap and you're not going on a hairline gap towards a car that is unless you want to see scratches on your fender or bumper.

Year end always the best time to buy cars imo. At the very least I get immediate savings.

Need to do budgeting when warranty over..lol
I read somewhere there are push start failure in other car forum..
*
You know what, I am more worried about the outside push to lock/arm button. I wonder how much that will cost once broken.

The more high risk is the CVT since it was a failure in 4th Gen city...which Honda decided to exclude in 5th Gen...not sure if 6th Gen can be reliable as what Honda claimed..touch wood, no one encounter this yet... rest assure Honda Vtec engine very reliable and robust...smile.gif
*
From what I have read before about the gearbox on that generation is if you keep at 120km/h for an extended period of time it will be worn out. When I drive out of town I varied my speed a bit just to play safe. Honda said this gen is fixed but you'll never know.

But but, engine is the last thing I want to risk voiding the warranty. Engine is by no means cheap.
You only save few ringgit going for the non-ori engine filter anyway...so I rather keep the warranty.

But for cabin filter yes, low risk, unless it affects your health, haha.
*
I won't save on cabin filter also. Non spec one could damage your aircond and it won't be cheap as well.

I wax my car yesterday. It feels smoother but I when I run my hand over I can feel like tiny sand particle here and there but when I look at it is spotless.

They are the sole distributor for K&N filter .ntg fishy...hardly any fake k&n nowadays . Easily identifiable by looking at the filter I guess ?

THREE BOND ENGINE CONDITIONER
http://www.lelong.com.my/three-bond-engine...7-12-Sale-P.htm

For those who want to DIY, this is cheap . Shop at PJS Taman Medan . Can cash and carry .
*
I was thinking why don't they zoom in during the testing of the K&N air filter...but then I was looking it through my mobile so it wasn't clear...but now I saw the hole is to built to fit the real filter so there's nothing fishy haha

finally a magic mount with a correct length,
not the ridiculously long ones sold at Mr.DIY.....
thumbup.gif
*
There is a short one at Mr. DIY. I bought it and sticking at the same spot. Used to hold really strong but after a while it needs to be reattached each time I get into my car else it will just drop midway. I bought another one at Mr. DIY also but this is fix at the fake air cond vent on the driver side. Works perfectly for now.

Is this normal?  Rusting. Wiper arms...  Bots...  And all.  My car is just 1 year old
*
The bots rust above the rotor not sure is good. After 5 years I guess I am going to change to brembo brake set.
