Hi guys, i just got my new city v last week. i realize my fc is not so good. AVG 9-11KM/L. 70 city 30 highway drive. im a gentle driver and even with the econ mode turned on, 1st full tank only can run 340km+-, which is quite a big diff from majority owner (13-15km/l city drive) can get.
It is normal for a new car to be like that? will it be better after the first service (1000km)?

If u get stuck in the traffic jam a lot along with a lot of start-stop traffic then it's pretty normal to have such fuel consumption. Anyway, it's only been a week. Monitor it longer. Learn how to keep the "live" average km/litre reading higher while driving.

Jam all the way from my house to working place (go and stop and 10-20km/h), average 1 full tank around 400km. I only on my ECO mode when there is jam. Once there is no jam, i will switch off the ECO mode.

Same v spec, 50km 2 way, stuck in jammed around 15 minute. drive around 60-70kmph. always maintain green light, never use eco. can get around 350km++ as i only refill gas one week after.

For the same distance traveled (home-work-home), my Espec can last 2 weeks as compared to my Persona, b4 i need to refuel. Pretty much highway journey though, and ECO mode ON and try to maintain GREEN light.

Is the rear A/C vent open ? (can the rear vent be closed ?) If you keep too close to people's tailpipe (hot air), it's gonna worsen your A/C efficiency. (*cough* bullshit *cough*) Do you accelerate like those pakcik driving 10 y.o. Iswara ? Do you roll to stop or press brake until car shake ?

Try bring your car to highway ride on a holiday. See how it performed. When got my car first week last month. Pumped full never even get 450km. After 2 3 weeks and 1st service check. And went highway 2 rounds to kuantan can clocked me near to 600km. Now 3k plus millage. Last i check 39 liters petrol clocked me 500km+ on my daily ride to work from subang to kl.

Tyre pressure may affect fuel efficacy. Forumer here suggests 240kpa for better fuel Consumption

QUOTE(NoNameForMe @ Sep 19 2017, 12:54 PM) I currently own a new facelifted City E, i want to change my headlamp from stock halogen to LED. Im not an expert in this field and love to know which led bulb can i use without glaring and jpj approved? Look for any led with 6300k colour temp that gives pure white. For led light intensity look for 6000 lumens and above. City has 2 bulbs type. Low beam H11 and high beam HB3 if not mistaken. Try looking around the spec above, china or taiwan brand made with longer warranty will cost rm2xx. Shorter warranty will cost rm1xx. If go for branded philips will cost rm5xx. Hope this help

different style of driving and also different car conditions will affect your average usage of fuel per km. for me myself, mostly the average is like 15km per litre so i also dunno wether it is ok or not hehe.
