Just received the webe broadband SIM card with the huawei modem yesterday. Checked 4G coverage at my area was ok. But modem kept showing no service. Anyone encounter this? Already called Hotline but ask me to wait 2 days if no changes call again @@

But webemobile throttle speed to 2Mbps for streaming n downloading. Wait n see Webe will counter offer with limited hotspot too.

is it sim-locked to webe's network only?

my home is fringe based on coverage map. but my p9 plus can scan webe's signal at home.

enticing to get the broadband. but i'm worried if coverage really sucks, i'll end up with a dud modem locked to a network i am terminating.

Well it works fine with my maxis and u mobile SIM. So i guess its unlocked. And since the modem is working fine, i guess my problem lies with the webe SIM card or webe account activation.

ya, if other sim works fine, the problem should not be on the modem then.

try put in the phone if you got band 5 phone.

I inserted the webe SIM into iPhone 7 which is Band 5 phone. Showing no service just like the modem. i see webe in the network selection but nothing happen when clicked. Should be SIM not activated?

Just call them up or maybe you can use their live chat platform.

Yeah already called. Said will forward to the technical team ask me to wait 2 days. If no changes to call again... the live chat function doesn't work somehow, click but nothing happens.

Signed webe since January, so far so good but still need to improve.

I'm switching over to digi infinite. I travel to china/hk frequently. the extra 5gb really useful for me. in addition, no need to pay for the 300 deposit whereby Webe will charge for roaming.
