For webe, the roaming can change to pay per use just for voice and sms only but not data? Especially do not want the the rm39 per day kind of plan.

Domestic TollFree 1300/1800

TollFree 1800 gives you a single number that your customers can easily remember and call from anywhere in Malaysia for FREE.

TollFree 1300 is an alternative for your nationwide customers to call you at the price of a local call only, regardless of where in Malaysia they are calling from.

Agree. The real package and real price of RM79. This is competitive price on Malaysia telco market today. RM199 is not valid anymore. It is past. Nobody will pay 199 for this package.
*
yup exactly. thumbsup.gif

this is indeed the "actual" price and not the "promo" price.

if it is not rm79 i dun know what kind of price they can up back after the so called "promo" to continue to stay competitive. cool2.gif

12/2 - last day "promotion" RM79

High chance it will be extended again.

For those who do not have unifi at home and have good 4g coverage at home for webe. Actually this is a good plan.

But can't share the bandwidth without resorting to illegal methods.
*
yup, this is why it is worth rm79 only, if up price, it cannot compete with any telcos.

this is why I dun see any reason they can really up this price.

in terms of coverage, reliability and stability etc, it cannot fight with any other telcos.

if one has unifi as home broadband, seriously the unlimited data is not really necessary.

if they allow sharing 'tethering' without additional charges, unifi/streamyx would die...

this see the minus side of being a tradisional land line company take over a mobile company and try to avoid hurting each other biz & prospect

but if tm dare take a bold step bundle unifi+webe cheap enough, they could beat other big 4 telco easily. e.g RM99 for unifi 5mbps unlimited + webe on phone unlimited, is that win-win? no need going to suspend all those illegal tether webe account ...
*
Same logic also, if they do not allow free tethering, they will not get any absolute advantage over any other telcos that can. Even at the price of rm79, not to say if they really increase the price later.

According to live chat current promo will end on 3/4/17

they never put the promo or expiry date, technically it can be considered as official normal price. As mentioned, without this price, there is no absolute advantage as compared to other telcos.

you will thought SMS is such an old technology that should be easy for an advanced 4G company, guess not.

Logged report cannot receive 2 steps SMS from a MMORPG on 9-2-2017, received call today 18-2-2017 that the support say webe does not support gaming SMS Tac. The sender SMS number is  62033, 68365.

Also, using Public Bank SMS Tac also problematic half of the times, slow to receive or need to resend 2 times before receiving.

Tried 3G only, 4G network, both same result on SMS.

saw from their faq,

26. Will I be charged any penalty if I decide to terminate my webe broadband service?
Don’t go … really. But if you must, we’ll remember you fondly and without penalty.

27. How will I be charged if I decide to terminate the services in the middle of the month?
For the days you were with us, our billing will remember you. But don’t go … really.

it seems like termination is prorated.

10. Will I be refunded if there is an extra payment in my account?
Yes. We will refund the extra payment in your account, for any amount more than RM10.

so in this case, it mean if i subscribe today, terminate next day, by rite i can get refund for the leftover of RM53 - the prorated charge rite?
