With digi offering unlimited data with no tethering fee... Webe should be working hard to increase their service

I knew digi will do it. They started to do survey about why are the customers switching to webe long time ago.
*
Thats why... But now it will depend how good their coverage..

Me in kluang.. Get speed around 10-20mbps average.. For now just happy with it..

My wife use digi.. Seems so far happy with her 4g at home

Yes, Band 5 I think(correct me if I'm wrong) used in Malaysia has only a very small bandwidth of 5-10MHz only. That is the reason why it cannot exceed 20Mbps.

You need a bandwidth of 20MHz generally to achieve 150Mbps, double that if you want 300Mbps, throw in advanced 256QAM for multiplexing to get 450Mbps.
*
usually devices that support band 5(either phone or modem) will support all the band..

If webe coverage not satisfied in our area, we can jump to other ship easily...

Not true for modems. Most Band 5 supported modems out there only additionally supports FDD 1900 AWS 1700/2100 bands which are totally irrelevant to Malaysian market.

Better you look for TDD Band 40 modems that also support Band 3 1800 and Band 7 2600 models sold by Huawei and ZTE.

this model that i bought from webe site for rm210...the price is acceptable

Yes.. I agree with u that searching for mifi that support band 5 quite difficult due to only webe use band 5...
But i think its okay..as long many phone support band 5..and webe also selling mifi with acceptable price..

Price is rm115.50 higher. Nothing cheaper. Not worth it at all. No point to get a higher capacity one also because it is certainly heavier to carry and no matter how large the battery, no meaning also, as this kind of battery degrades really super super fast.
*
Just buy from webe then...mifi is nice actually..used it for 5 minutes..then i give it to my mother in law...for their daily use in kampung.. tongue.gif

i terminated my line last month, and the last bill come out yesterday and i have excess payment after calculated as pro rated. however, the amount is less than rm10.. so after check with webe cs, the money cannot be refunded and kena makan by them.. even though the amount is less than rm10.. tis type of policy is really fascinating..  sad.gif

i am thinking like that too although they stated in their t&c.. but wondering if they have the right to fit it this way or not.. anything less than rm10 cannot be refunded..
few months ago, i have another line with webe...and after i terminated it that time, i asked to transfer the excess payment to my 2nd acc..  , but when i live chat with their cs, they said cannot also last time... only can wait for refund within 90 days.. luckily that time the balance was more than rm10.. but this time gg...  bangwall.gif

U already terminate? If not.. U can pay excess.. Then u will get all the refund..
