From what I see, I think Astro will take HD versions of both TV1 and TV2.

This is a very good news for Malaysia terrestrial TV channels, as we are in progress to HD broadcasting, for free.

As now KPLUS korean drama ads are shown in Astro channels, wonder if Attack On Titan(on aniplus) ads might shown in Astro channels or not.
speaking of aniplus.
What is "right after japan" in aniplus?
Is it same thing as "same day as japan" or aired after Japan broadcast finished?

From Anime News Network article. They stated Right After Japan is 1 hour after Japan premiere.

Wow that more faster than same day as Japan(which is Animax was using)

But Aniplus don't have new premiere show instead of latest from Japan offerings.
For me Animax still the best. Aniplus should add more show at 8pm or 10pm slot like Animax doing. If they can add plus with Malay dub. Sure more people will watch.

But Animax channel on Astro seems no longer make Malay dub. Maybe Astro/Animax not find good actor voice to match criteria with that show.

Or, it could mean that no much Malay audiences are watching anime in Malay dub, and prefer original Japanese dub. Astro has ways to analyse that, and get the statistics.

I wonder what other 80 TV channel in MYTV. Hopefully not in-house channel again.

Doesn't matter if Astro not add more anime channel. I will find other source to watch the uncensored version And also there are too many fanservice cut in Aniplus channel. With DanMachi S2 spin off coming. I wonder how their will handle the censor version. Even Animax & Disney got too much rip off version in Astro.

I think astro would have two type..
Both SD & HD... SD one they compress from HD feed..

The problem with monopoly...
Until new pay TV comes in the market..

As more people knowing that exclusive channel in Astro GO app. And bad picture quality & video lag. Customer will demand for it to be made available in byond platform. If they are smart enough to get more profits. Maybe we can see Aniplus, K+ & Comedy Central on TV.

Hopefully still in their recent package as for Comedy Central(Family HD). K+(Korean Pack) & Aniplus(Variety). This pack is already enough as Variety pack cost RM12.72 if you subscribe to Value Pack. If not maybe astro will make ala carte pack.

Astro GO exclusive channel ads already out.
Cannot tahan see this ads. Saw South Park & Attack On Titan ads. People will ask why this channel not available in their stb.

Incoming more exclusive content only made available in Astro GO & On Demand.
Seriously their should focus to atleast add the channel content provider. And make some tittles also available via On Demand.
