Yeah you need to subscribe to HD PVR service (RM26.50/month) to watch HD channels corresponding to the package. If you've subscribed only PVR service, then you need to upgrade it.

For example to enjoy Astro Supersport HD, you need to subscribe both Sports pack and HD-PVR Service.

I wonder will we be getting Tru TV & Thrill for next Astro lineup. Consider as previous addition in AOTG is KIX HD, AXN HD & new exclusive channel Aniplus, K+ & Comedy Central. For me Tru TV maybe not many people will watch but for Thrill channel.


What make me interested is HD quality viewing & support Chromecast to your HDTV for viewing on big screen.

As i notice that KIX HD, eGG Network, K+ & Aniplus made available on Tribe streaming app. Maybe this year Astro will launching Tribe app in Malaysia or Thailand. Tribe website always show Stay Tuned. Hope we not get this Tribe service as AOTG stream quality is very bad quality compare to HyppTV Everywhere app.

Astro on the Go => Astro GO.

Cheapskate astro. instead of waiting Aniplus, K+ & Comedy Central to byond HD platform. They are doing this thingy.

Please fix streaming quality first before doing this Astro!!

I saw in Aniplus asia IG, season 2 Attack on Titan will be same time as japan in astro on the go. Already start?

Can make Chromecast to your HDTV. This mean Aniplus on Astro GO can be watch on your TV. But i don't know if people will like it because their streaming quality just like you watching 240p or 360p video resolution in YouTube.

There is NOTHING great except for repeats not willing to to waste my expensive data,I rather use my data more wisely on more good premium content. Astro has bored msians enough!!

From what I see is, Astro is seriously want to participate in Malaysian OTT platform market in Malaysia as well, besides Tonton, iflix, Hypp TV Everywhere, etc. Since Astro Go will provide exclusive content (means you won't be getting it on platforms other than Astro Go), providing Comedy Central and Aniplus channel exclusively on Astro Go may be one of it.

Well, Astro is trying something other than just satellite TV alone, which I find it good though.

But still for me, Astro Go is still a lot more needs to be improved, such as streaming quality (480p, 720p, 1080p), subtitles, aspect ratio, service/app reliability and stability, etc.

Looks like HyppTV also offers Comedy Central for both IPTV & HyppTV Everywhere app. Maybe end 2017 or next year 2018 Astro will add Astro GO exclusive channel anyway. Considering more demand with "Same Day As Korea" & "Right After Japan" tittle. Both offer the same tactic. Just like other international channels offerings like "Same Day As US" & "Same Day As UK".

With this strong new latest show. Just direct to your homes in just after or before one day it premiere in other country & we can watch the latest show. Other streaming service such as iflix, Viu & Netflix need to do something. Our people still loves the TV channels content. Even the channel have so many repeat but we don't care as we still got something new show every week. Either it "Premiere On TV Channel" or "Latest From US". Just like TV Channel going strong with the best offerings when you don't have high speed internet access. You can option to subscribe "Astro GO" or "Astro Satellite/IPTV".

Just for info, HyppTV will add 6 new channel tomorrow, Zee Tamil 303, Zee TV 304, Zee Cinema 309, Sony SAB 311, Sony SET 312 and TVN Movies 222. But remove 2 channels UTV Bindass 305 and Bindass Play 301. Rebrand MNC Channel 115 to Pesona HD...

...while Astro....none.

Sorry folks but the sports channel takes the majority pie hence the stopping of new channels and we still fall in the trap especially mamak shop dang it 99% sure got sports channel or else no profit hahahaha

Zeetv channels are great,asstro has nothing great to offer already except looking for ways to con customers to stay on!Astro wanted to control zeetv with a compiled channel Zee Variasi but the deal turned sour

tvN Movies sadly going to HyppTV. Looks like the dream come true. Meanwhile Astro adds K+ for Korean Pack but badly on Astro GO. Really astro. Your Astro GO app cannot even match your HyppTV competitor. If HyppTV available to subscribe. I definitely subscribe them. Really feels disappointed NHK HD only on HyppTV. Free basic pack available NHK HD, & good best music channel MTV Live HD & Channel [V] HD

If they add Gem HD. More japan drama content in HyppTV than astro.
Sometime i wonder if AXN, ONE & Animax has ends exclusive contract with Astro. And maybe HyppTV will take this channel. And more good channel in their platform.
Gonna be surprise if HyppTV can offer ONE HD, Animax HD & Oh!K HD.

Just like what happen in Singapore. Starhub no more have exclusive contract with AXN & Animax. Immediately that channel made available in Singtel TV.

I think HyppTV shall not to launch these channels at tommorow. RTM TVi is not available on HyppTV yet, RTM TVi on Astro channel 180 will be renumbering to channel 109 starting 1 April 2017.

Atleast HyppTV customer can get more choice than Astro. Zee Variasi removed and replace by Tara HD. For TVi. Me not so watching this channel. Just recycle content from tv1. and i think not many will watching TVi. Maybe will be ceased transmission someday. Considering not good new content provide.
