My guess not a single new DTH player will walk in as the exsisting ones are still unable to penetrate households simply cos its expensive! Just another big donation to MMC and asstro will get another extension, reason no other player! Even if the exclusivity expires.which other player can afford the costs?TM carries some exclusive channels on astro after Feb,2017so what?Msians hv been bored to death since 1995 now TM??????????? With so many FREE content around its quite doubtful DTH Tv which is too expensive will be a priority. So many players are holding the licence but only 2 cronies of bn/umnu are operating!

Really hope new company will apply. I don't want next 10 years worth of waste just to see my favourite channel such as Animax HD, Cartoon Network HD, Toonami HD and others will not be upgrade/launch in HD quality on Astro platform
I was like already more than 5-6 years and this channel is still not available on Astro

And yeah more people really want FOX SPORTS 2 HD & 3 HD. After 2-3 years end up on HyppTV first
New satelite Measat 3b but Astro say that their have 18 transponder rent from Measat.

Astro know this fans will subscribe to Astro korea channel in HD that cost you RM77.05* with 6% add.

Or Astro want to hike price this year with new HD sports channel. Not new but upgrade of FOX SPORTS 2 & 3 HD.
Last year sport price up RM8.48 more with upgrade of Arena HD, ASSP4 HD and beIN SPORTS HD.

TVB Classic 305 is in native 16:9, yet astro still choose to 4:3 letterbox'ed it.

according to astro, a lot user still on CRT TV
