outbound: yes because it deduct from your CASA

inbound: should be no, because it's credited into FD account directly (not thru CASA)

Thanks Man! I did a tried! FPX direct to FD account. Unlike manual FD, in and out from CASA. Will have +100 and -100 history on CASA.

Not surprising...

even Affin rate already "not attractive" like the old days...

Bank Islam is still the best in town... was expecting MBSB or BR give good rate... but still below Bank Islam one icon_rolleyes.gif

Some banks set a limit on the amount that may be withdrawn from branches other than home branch.

For AmBank can withdraw from any branch irrespective of amount, hopefully u are not talking in excess of 1 mil. biggrin.gif But depending on banks, some require
u to do FD withdraw from originating branch, some set limits from other branches.

Yesterday went to BR to place 12 mths 4.22% with mthly interest. Though BI 4.5% is highest, but cannot put all eggs in a single basket... tongue.gif

seems like board rate for FD has come down...
does it mean banks are flushed with money?

Time to increase RRR (reserve requirement ratio)?

Dun think 50k is the limit for br. Just that you cannot uplift in other branches if your cert is more then 50k. But if you have say 3 20k certs you can uplift.

Really stupid system if you ask me.

Yup, 50k in one slip. Found this out the hard way, had to make cross-dsitrict trip to the original branch few months back
