QUOTE(xphr3ak @ Mar 20 2018, 01:34 PM) Emailed BNM and bank, still no action. Bank : they still need to make money from merchant.Confirm with still use same terminal and rules. Like someone said, lack of enforcement. Merchant: they need it incase of emergency (large amount). basically u scratch my back and i scratch yours, when bank doesn't want to do anything, no one can do anything ... as BN will tell you that is agreement between Bank and Merchant, it requires us complaint to merchant bank directly .... |

Just wait for retail businesses to further dip this year. Than they will be more flexible and try to adopt new methods. By than, what they call new is what other countries have adopted and using for some time. They always think that mass majority of Malaysians are nini's.

As Malaysians are starting to adopt mobile payments, there’s now a new retail player that has taken the bold step to go completely cashless. Funmaii, is a new convenience store chain in Malaysia that only accepts electronic payments.
They have just opened its second store in Bandar Puteri Puchong and they aim to redefine retail convenience through a fuss-free and secure cashless experience. The Funmaii stores offer your typical daily necessities with a selection of imported snacks and beverages from Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Thailand. The whole concept isn’t as futuristic as Amazon Go, as you would still need to check out each individual item before you leave the store. Cash isn’t accepted so you would need to pay via Funmaii’s e-wallet app or by Mastercard/Visa credit cards at the self-checkout counter. Yup, their credit card terminal does support PayWave and Samsung Pay. QUOTE(Xaser_3 @ Mar 19 2018, 09:02 AM) You should have no issues using SPay with Citibank Visa. I am assuming this is not your time using SPay, right? The daily limit for Citibank on NFC merchant terminals is RM750, so you have quite a bit of credit to play with there. Do let me know your outcome, as I might be able to advice further. Cheers! Just open spay akready added 40pts, no any notification receiveI hope you kept the receipts for the transaction. You have to e-mail Samsung Pay CS support with your description, screenshots of your points, credit card (digital version) together with the receipt slip. They would check and credit the points and log the transaction for you in 2-3 days, so nothing to worry about there. |
