The laptop cooler is not rely useful

Aiyah... maybe I should have bought my CR-35 from there instead of Sony Center. But when I went to TecAsia, they didn't even mention any freebies. So I went to Sony Center. I blame the TecAsia salesman.

i have a question here...my laptop keyboard 'J' key is very sensitive, n i wanted to bring back to sony centre ( i bought from sony centre lowyat, ground floor ). i bought it last sunday, i wonder is it possible they exchange another new one for me?

I don't know. Think you'll have to ask or call them yourself to confirm.

i check with sony centre, upgrade to 2gb ram, they charged rm500+ ... or can i just bring it to lowyat any shop to do it ,

do u all know whether sony's laptop ram and other brand use the same kind of ram.

Which sony centre did you visit ? which model you wanna upgrade to 2Gb ?
Normally in direct store like Sony Style, 1gb RAM = RM 538, 2gb RAM = RM639 if not mstaken.
The RAM normally they will put in kingston Brand. The one that comes together with VAIO laptop if not mistaken the brand is something like Quaram.
Personally, if you wish to upgrade your ram, you can actually do it in lowyat which you can find the price much lower.

Erm, as far as i am concern, is not secret cannot reveal. In fact, is the sales person himself dont know about it.
In my earlier post, if not mistaken, the RAM is Quaram Brand.

Why you want to o for cr23 ? =)

about the ram, i called the sony call centre. the customer service consultant is the person telling me that the ram brand is secret as he got instruction from boss.

I asked him so i will buy the laptop without knowing whats the ram MY laptop using and i have no right to know whats the brand of my own laptop. I did keep asking him whats the reason, He said dont know.

Perfect-Stranger..You know all the staff at Sony Style KLCC ar? I also find the staff there very uninformational.. I went there once.. ask the sales person 1 question.. he has to go and ask another person for answer.. then I asked him another question.. then he has to ask another colleague for answer... What a waste of my time

Added on April 4, 2008, 2:49 pmI realise CR35 the keypad quite insensitive.. let's say you type 'K' 2 times continuously.. and type it fast... only 1 'K' appears.

Kantiaros, if you need any program to check the brand of the RAM, let me know, i can give it to you. Save it in thumbdrive go there and check. They will be amazed coz not many people know how to check.

Recently, there are alot of staff quiting and new staff keep on coming in.
Well, as long as they didnt provide you the wrong information, then should be ok. It's actually you cn tell the product consultant that you want to meet the product specialist over there. Those are the seniors over there. And i supposed they know how to answer all your quest. =)

Erm, regarding about the keypad issue, i will recommend you to send for service and check whether is the product fault or not since it's stil under warranty, rite ? =)

how long can it last?

hi i am using two vaio, S46GP & TX57. although i have been using the S46GP for more than 2 years, it is still performing very well. TX57 is in lack of speed which i believe it is due to the window vista platform. i am wondering if i can ask sony centre to downgrade the platform to window xp at no cost. can anyone assist me please?

my cr35 can last for 4 hrs

maybe i am planning to buy CR35 in the coming pc fair, they are giving away free sony mouse, bag pack and add 1 yr warranty to existing package.

could someone give the feedback of this model , on stability, durability and accesibility ? any known errors ?
