QUOTE(williamngwl @ Jan 11 2008, 02:10 PM) yes.u can upgrade it I did some research on FZ online..and found tat the specs are slightly better than CR23G..it looks real slim but based on the FZ specs, it is much bulkier than CR.. just top up rm500 to get fz25g with nvidia 8400MGT(128MB Dedicated),better lcd screen and come with 2 years warranty |

The CR23G has been replaced by CR35. The specs are much better. Wanted to get the Lizard Skin edition but was told that M'sia won't be bringing in that. Will only bring in 5 colors --- red, gold, white, indigo, and pink. Won't even bring in black!
Any idea where to get the lizard skin? |

QUOTE(Miyabi @ Feb 21 2008, 11:12 AM) sadly, it's depend on sony malaysia.. May I know what did you mean by they remove all the cr series wth ati gpu which available before?unless you decide to make a purchase online, and having warranty hold by the country/place you purchased from, not from sony malaysia,eg sony new zealand, n.a. weird that they have remove out all the cr series with ati gpu which available before. My bf just bought this CR35 white 2 days ago... and I'm waiting for the new FZ series to be released... |

I got my CR35 last wednesday.. and today I found that my AV Mode button isn't working.. and then when I press on the volumn control buttons - and +, the volumn will change.. but it won't show on the screen.. This happened to my bf's CR35 also last nite.. but I restart.. then it's ok.. my bf's one.. after restarting... the AV Mode now won't work.

QUOTE(nic_chm @ Mar 25 2008, 02:23 AM) Nope, I didn't do anything about the volume and AV Mode. I dun think there's anything at the control panel tat can set it to "sometimes can function sometimes cannot"... it's Vaio CR's problem lo I think.. |

QUOTE(tanjq @ Mar 26 2008, 04:48 PM) Hey guys, I was looking at the SZ7 series. The 2 models looks nice to own 1 I know CR series battery can last up to 4 hours... and FZ series can only last up to 2.5 hours..But then it seems a little expensive compared to the XPS M1330, so I was wondering whether is there any Sony VAIO laptops that has long battery life that suits a student? Cause im thinking of getting one Thanks in advance |

QUOTE(tanjq @ Mar 26 2008, 04:52 PM) CR series battery can last for 4 hrs ar? Cause at Notebookreview.com they said that it lasted for only an hour or so. The FZ series also a little too big for me It's stated in CR's specs tat it can last up to 4 hrs.. For me, I seldom use the batt.. only once in a while.. when a full batt u just keep it and dun use.. sure will hv some energy lost ma.. then last nite I used it, it left 2 hrs +. So it definitely can last for more than an hour. CR is the only cheapest 14.1" among all the vaio series. Good specs also. |

QUOTE(Perfect-Stranger @ Apr 3 2008, 11:01 PM) Hi Kantiaros, Perfect-Stranger..You know all the staff at Sony Style KLCC ar? I also find the staff there very uninformational.. I went there once.. ask the sales person 1 question.. he has to go and ask another person for answer.. then I asked him another question.. then he has to ask another colleague for answer... What a waste of my timeCan secretly PM me the sales person name ? Thanks alot. Erm, as far as i am concern, is not secret cannot reveal. In fact, is the sales person himself dont know about it. In my earlier post, if not mistaken, the RAM is Quaram Brand. Why you want to o for cr23 ? =) This is the old model wor. Why dont go for CR35 =) Need more feedback from you about KLCC sony style branch service to you. Thanks Added on April 4, 2008, 2:49 pmI realise CR35 the keypad quite insensitive.. let's say you type 'K' 2 times continuously.. and type it fast... only 1 'K' appears. Recently I noticed, whenever I turn on my CR35, it will suddenly shut off while in the midst of loading. And I have to turn on again. This happens about 4 out of 10 times I turn it on. Can tell me what's wrong please?
