i check with sony centre, upgrade to 2gb ram, they charged rm500+ ... or can i just bring it to lowyat any shop to do it ,

do u all know whether sony's laptop ram and other brand use the same kind of ram.

call sony call centre , i aske ram what brand. he say secret canot reveal.
i asked why , he say boss say 1. means i buy but canot know what brand ram i using

more expensive ma!! anyway cr35 is indeed a very attractive package

about the ram, i called the sony call centre. the customer service consultant is the person telling me that the ram brand is secret as he got instruction from boss.

I asked him so i will buy the laptop without knowing whats the ram MY laptop using and i have no right to know whats the brand of my own laptop. I did keep asking him whats the reason, He said dont know.

haha, perhaps Perfect-Stranger should work in Sony Centre and definately their sales will shot up.... Thanks for your kind explaination and professionalism in answering ....

maybe i am planning to buy CR35 in the coming pc fair, they are giving away free sony mouse, bag pack and add 1 yr warranty to existing package.

could someone give the feedback of this model , on stability, durability and accesibility ? any known errors ?

i was there . I have checked with Sony Centre . However the VOS 1 yr warranty is starting to run from the date u purchase (which means run concurrently with your 2 years local warranty) and this VOS only applies when u go overseas.

and another guy was offering rm4488 minus 4% but without free gift like pendrive, mouse and headset and 1 yr vos

pc fair got quite a good offer for cr35

free original mouse, cooler, pendrive, headset and ....etc plus extra 1 yr warranty

and some giving out bagpack for free .

asus n sony having a close competition there

one from tan electronic (dealer) (4 free gifts like ori mouse,keyboard cover,ori bag and 1 yr local n international warrany + backpag and sony speakers (whilst stocks for the speakers)

from sony itself gave out the 4 free gifts plus few more gifts like 2gb sony pendrive,cooler pad,laptop locker, headsets and cleaning kit.
