you can upgrade to 4gb, but windows xp 32bits can only see 3gb max..

my SZ in manual also mention only 2gb max, but i tried with 4gb no problem, showing 3gb..

now i am using 1gb x 1 + 2gb x 1

btw,my advise for u is not to take that external casing

erm hi...

i have manage to downgrade my FE45G/W from vista to XP.

all programs and driver runs fine. but after installing all Sony drivers and applications, i cant seem to use the S1 and S2 buttons.

anyone have any idea what should i do to enable the buttons?

In my C drive having a file call REBOOTSECT.BAK, anyone know wut is this file? Or how it appear becoz b4 tat i like never seen tis file appeared. Can i delete it?

i think better not to delete it cause it is a backup file for 1 of your program.delete the file might corrupted 1 of the program

how it appear? b4 if i not mistaken, dun have tis file inside..

first of all I would like to take this opportunity to say hello and proud to join this club....... even before own a vaio.

I never used a sony vaio before, all the while I'm using an another made notebooks wish not to mention the brand, as every corner of low yat I have noticed that the banglas is selling the particular brand and it made me feel......... I guess you guys know what I'm trying to express.....

Well under this state of affair I'm moving in to sony vaio...... I believe I have made the right choice.... the question here is I walked into one of the shop in town to do some survey on the vaio as usual the sales person approached and pretended to help me and asked what I need and I told him what I wanted and oppose some question about vaio.

The sales person introduced me the VAIO VGN FZ28G he told me that it's on sale right now as a newer model will be out soon to replace this model ( HE IS SO HONEST ) so we are clearing the stock if you don't mine this is a very good unit and a very good buy and he offered me this unit for RM 6499.00 is this a good buy and worth buying or should I wait for the newer model and pay extra 35%.

Please help in this scenario as your opinion is so much appreciated.

FZ28G for RM6499 is very good price, it has the blue-ray drive

like william said, leave it there. i have try google for it, but in vain.

if you really need the blu-ray player , it's worth. otherwise take the FZ with dvd-rw dual layer player
dont worry about the build quality, it's satisfied. besides, vaio give less problem.
just dont forget to upgrade the ram to 1gb or 2gb (better) or 4gb (if you want lol) for smooth performance.
