shipment is on mid-feb.. very soon.. 3788 for high spec is the cheapest vaio P u can get. at least cheaper than the US, UK & SG. i nearly i ask my friend to preorder for me in SG lucky i didnt. Msia cheap cheap.. maybe due to tax free.

so you pre-order the high spec version?

anyway , gratz on the pre-order. waiting for your review, though engadget already inform about it perform best in windows 7 than vista.

@miloseven: attractive price for tz. but i wonder if the model 36 and 37 doesnt have the problem anymore like the previous batches. (im refering to melt hinge issue).

VAIO P on pre-order. Still trying to confirm whether the models on sale here come with GPS and 3G built in, ie. same as their US counterparts. Delivery is after the end of the pre-order period, whatever that means.

FW12 for rm3600 is cheap..its more powerful than the newer FW23..

Saw VAIO P on display in Sony Style KLCC. Only pre orders now. Could touch and play. It's really really light!!!

Heard from the staff there that they have displays in all the Sony Styles here in KL

Added on January 15, 2009, 3:38 pm When I checked with the Sony Style staff, they mentioned that it does not come with GPS & 3G. Yeah they also mentioned that delivery will be after the pre-order period. This means after 14 Feb but they couldn't confirm specific dates.
