Still hv no time to play with it..
Tonight only will remove all the unneeded softwares..

Is it after installed all the software we want then only we create the backup/restore disc? The restore disc we created will together with the softwares u install our own?

Anyone know Vaio Z has extra mini-pci slot for 3.5G card? Or we must use the express card slot for 3.5G Internet?

Don't see any slot for sim card..
I think Malaysia version doesnt hv the slot ready , rite? sad.gif

I cant find it..

My connection speed is only 54mbps since it is using G..My desktop able to reach 200+mbps..

Im just set the wifi security to WPA2 in router then i got 300mbps speed thumbup.gif

Just set the wifi security in router to WPA2 method. b4 this, i use WPA..

Draft n is still problematic..
My desktop has no issue using WPA to get draft n speed..

I think to use on 3.5G on my Z.. Think only way is to use USB modem or Express Card slot, since cant find any other slot on the lappy itself

I believe if u use other vista OS CD and do installation and use the cd-key comes with ur vaio, it still works..

Vary depend on the Cd comes with ur HP.. Most Branded PC come with customized OS restore CD nowaday which allow u to reformat and reinstalled all drivers in one click.

2799 one is still considered alright..Loving it..
BUT Sony is too clever to make RED color one to be only HIGHEND model
