hi.. im interested in getting a Sony Vaio (why Vaio.. ? coz i just heart it <3) wub.gif

however.. im clueless bout which to get... hmm.gif

looking for something that's not too heavy coz i travel alot... screen size that's not too small nor too big (probably around 13 inch? slightly smaller or bigger shud still be ok).. preferably 2Gb ram above... ok to game in (not too laggy and stuff)...

quite confused about all those different series type... besides the screen size, what makes them different from each other?

thanks heaps in advance thumbup.gif

13inch display, lightweight enough for traveling, good processing capability and can support moderate gaming,

SR: 13.3inch, just below 2kg, RM5k
Z: 13.1inch, ~1.5kg, RM7k

my lappy is not under warranty after 2.5 yrs. And that's y i will need to pay 160 service n labor charges + the new keyboard. And you will get additional KEYBOARD or the part u changed for 3 months ONLY.
Well, in my case, its the keyboard's fault. So new keyboard is needed

Hi all,

I am considering to get a VAIO lappy and I am eyeing either the SR, TZ or the newer TT. I remember seeing a promotion for the TZ model as they are clearing stock. Is the deal still available? Can someone let me know what are the promotions if any?

For those of you who already own a VAIO, may I know what are the best things of owning one consider it is quite a premium? Any well known problems for the three models mentioned above? Thanks all

Wow, Nice oneĀ  laugh.gif
There you go, another 3 months warranty.Ā  icon_rolleyes.gif
I'm kinda confused now. I got the extended warranty today. It seems they put two years extra from the date of purchase. When i called Sony that day to register, they put 1 year + 3 months warranty in my sony style account but i did not mention anything about the extended warranty because i haven't filled the form. Now i'm a little confused whether the 3 months is together with the extended warranty period. unsure.gif

Anyone have any idea on this?

What kinda of promotion are they having? Clearing stocks? I would advice u to double check the lappy urself before purchasing them blindly, especially in those low yat or imbi area. If its only RM500 or lesser discount, i would advice u to purchase the new model or wait for the new one.

Beward of those DEMO set, which the lappies are demo from 9am-9pm daily for few weeks? I bet you don't want your lappy with overheated/over usage screen and other problems? Don't forget that those demo sets, the screen is on 12 hrs per day without resting, and those internal hardware as well?

THANKS! XD

watz de difference actually? btwn SR and Z? besides the stated screen size and weight? (coz there's a huge difference in price >_>)

Also, is SZ and TZ old models? coz when i try searching it up.. doesn't really have much results in sony main site >_<..

budget so far not sure.. hopefully not above 10k though...

and just a question... for a gaming laptop.. which series would u recommend? (asking on behalf of my friend ^^)

No because the TZ has been replaced by the TT. So they are clearing the old stocks. Those are not demo sets hehe. Anyways, I am from Penang so lowyat / imbi area stuff are out of my area tongue.gif Will mostly buy from official Sony centre. But thanks for the advise though icon_rolleyes.gif
