Hahaha. Lol I really like the illuminated on key not the side of the key. I read those review looks good but I didn't know that it's sponsored or not. BTW this board key cap can't be replace with other mechanical keycap? Light me please

but yeah, instead of side of the key, its illuminate at the center which is a + point.

afaik, it uses the romer G switches.
mix review from user. some like it, some not. but gaming wise, mostly liked it.

and yes afaik, i have not found any keycap replacement for it.
and most aftermarket keycaps uses the cherry stem or topre(which is rarely done oso).
hence the reason i stick with cherry/cherry clones switches.

well, as long as they like the original combination, it's good enough imo.

however, if the manufacturer did think as a user for once, and used cherry mx style stems in their product range, that alone would make a lot of their own users happy. coolermaster was smart enough to adapt it with their novatouch; then few years later, realforce finally realized this, and has made the change, too. when will logitech pick this up? let's see.

i rather support manufacturers that build stuff from users' standpoints, than to support those who aim to cash in only.

How is razer ornata?

for a pure mechanical keyboard users, they will never go back to mecha-membrane keyboard.
It should be feel like blue switch due to clicky sound on the switches of this keyboard.
Besides, the Cooler Master also did produce a mem-chanical keyboard - Cooler Master Masterkeys Lite L
I think it should be similar like Razer Ornata.
Mechanical is relying on springs but mecha-membrane is replaced to membrane to make their keys rebound for every switches that you pressed.

Hey guys, I'm planning to get Topre Clone Plum 84 Non LED 35G which cost about RM320 off Taobao. Does anyone have any other suggestion? I do plan to lube it. I'm currently used to Gateron White 35g, so 35g Topre clone will be fine I guess? If I do lube it, how long will the lube last? Do I lube it once a year, or lesser? Please advice, thanks.

if you used grease, i don't think you need to do it that often. i have read that it will last for a long time. (for how long i don't know) reapply if it's not good anymore.

35g? wow. that's light.

35gram only is that too light? Sometimes I put my fingers on Cherry MX Red Switch will also accidentally press down the button because they keys are too light.

Generally it's fine once you get used to it. Gaming wise, gotta be careful not rest your fingers on the key as you will sometimes press and register the key. Feels good when typing though, doesn't require as much force as other switches. I'd get 45G if I can find Plum 84 45g non LED/bluetooth though, couldn't find it... sad.gif

ok. not good for me. i always rest my fingers on the board.

there should be options like replacement of springs for the board i guess. you can try find the right springs for this.
