Yes. 95% city drive with traffic jam is about 9-10 only.

I got query on the maintenance for both 1.8 and 1.5. I check their respective maintenance cost from honda official website. Found out that maintenance cost for 1.5 is slightly cheaper than 1.8. Is that true? Or i got the wrong info here?

That just means you encounter quite a few heavy traffic jam in your daily drive bro. Try going on highways with little to no traffic jams and keep your revs low. I'm sure you'll see the numbers go up.

hmm.. i think some of us confuse the services structure. Different SC got different explanation on the services concept.

For example:-
a) Some SC will insist the owner to service the engine oil together with mileage services although the owner  just done service engine oil not long ago.

b) Some SC will let owner decide what kind of service the owner needed either just mileage services or engine oil only. But will give best advise to the owner.

SA and SC telling me different way of services. So i also not sure who to trust.

Maybe some of the owner here can check with their SC or SA when they send their car for services. At least give other owner or future owner have clear concept on it.

Well, this is my personal thinking.  biggrin.gif

I did my 2nd service at 7844km this morning due to the service message reminder pop up. I requested the 10k milleage service in one shot instead of just change the engine oil only (A). My SC allowed it. smile.gif my next service will be 17844km or depends on the engine oil indicator.

Btw, i told them that the engine grinding sound issue was solved in thailand. Anyway, my SC said they are not aware on it and claimed they cant produce the sound just now. They asked me send them the video and may be can drop my car there for some times to check for it. After confirm the issue only feedback to HM.. hmmm... i though this is a common issue? May be need every tc owner here to complain it to the particular SC when you send your car for service if you experienced this issue too. So that HM will aware of malaysia batch also experienced this issue.

The other issue that i used to have is the famous "click click" sound, rattling sound in the right dashboard area. Anyway, after this annoying sound become quite servere on one day ("click click ..." from my office till to my home), weird thing is i dont have this issue anymore since that day till now.. that was happend at around 3000km++. So i just ignored this issue now.

See the one for the 1.5T again properly.
The Oil Filter is every 10k instead of 20k. Don't know why.
And the Parts total is wrong. That's why.

The only issue that i had is when the car on idling or stopped, it is vibrating but very minor that i can feel it.
I suspect there is loose hose that cause it, but when check with SC, they claimed it is normal for this civic, again it come back to QC of Honda Malaysia, as for consumer like us, no choice have to keep complaining to SC since it has 5 years warranty - problem is they normally will push away the small issues if they can that ended up you will bear with the small issues until it become big problem then only they will get it solved for you.

The biggest challenge is after 5 years which is no warranty covered, it will cost a lot to maintain 1.5t civic. I will choose 1.8 if i wanna drive it for 10 years. 1.5T civic i probably will sell if after 5 years depends on its reliability.

Maybe these are teething issues. As our local guys get more experience, they'll be able to handle things better. Yes, long term maintenance on turbo engines will be higher than NA. But once kena turbo torque very hard to go back la....hehehe!

Tks for your feedback, bro!

I think they know about the grinding sound issue la. Even their Japan factory know la.
Owners in US complained so long dy. This is the only unresolved issue that worries me.
(I have my own theories about the sound but I'm not ready to put it up here yet. Still doing some reading on it.)

The click click issue that you used to have ... I think your car ran out of clicks wink.gif tongue.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif haha ..

Bro, I understand you are getting your car from Honda Roda BB, Jalan Imbi, KL.

This is some insider info for you. The tint which they claim is Llumar Diamond 6 is not actually that. Certain sales ppl at this Honda dealer pakat with the tinting shop. They install a much lower grade of tint but put the Llumar sticker. No way you can get Diamond 6 for only RM1,800.

Also double check the 'terms & conditions' of that RM500 discount from your SA.

This dealership has got many bad reviews e.g customers getting cheated, original car accessories removed & replaced, promises made and not kept, etc.

Make sure you get everything in black & white. Never trust anything verbal from them. If he promises you Llumar Diamond 6 at RM1,800 ask him to take u to the Llumar shop and you ask them directly in front of him. Make sure they give you the original Llumar 10 years warranty slip. It must be from llumar and not from the shop.

About to make booking at Honda Jalan Imbi. But saw someone posted at v1 about the bad / cheat experience with the Honda Jalan Imbi, which hold my step to confirm the deal with the SA. Did some one made booking from the same Honda Jalan Imbi? Would you mind to share the good or bad experience with me?

You said after operating the wipers, the glass will have oily rainbow residue.
Then try cleaning the windscreen again with lots of normal car wash shampoo and check again but don't operate the wipers. Maybe the wipers have the oily stuff which gets transferred to the windscreen.

If still cannot, I suggest you go to a detailer shop.
A good detailer will test on a small section first before doing the whole windscreen. (Important & Recommended)

If either one above is successful, then don't operate the wipers. Better to first change the wipers' blade (i.e. the refills which are cheaper) to be safe. Then wash the wipers ( and windscreen) thoroughly with normal shampoo after changing.

Good luck ..
