I went to Honda showroom in October with the intention of booking 1.8 but i left that day with the booking of 1.5TC. Factors for choosing the later:
1. The loan interest is quite attractive so that i can opt for additional 10K loan without adding too much into my monthly installment budget.
2. The leather seat is a must for me since my son is allergic to dust.
3. 17 inches rim looks way better.

That was my logic when i did the booking. Since I was driving Honda Insight for daily commutes, I did not think I need the 1.5TC power since I was driving very light-footed and since I used to own Civic FD1, i think 1.8 power is enough.

I did not regret my decision now since 1.5TC is fun to drive. I do not spent most of my time driving in the right most lane (like the majority of Civic FC owners that I have encountered on the road) but there power is there when i need it. Even with econ mode on, going uphill or overtaking on highways can be done rather effortless.

Just my 2 cents.

Never thought i needed the power too. I came from a Viva, so the 1.8 would be more than powerful enough. But like yourself, couldn't stomach the fabric seats. Ended up with the 1.5. I have a very uncle driving style, but I have to say the way the powertrain is tuned, it makes overtaking very effortless. The extra power also helps when you're coming out of a junction or merging into traffic; quick traffic especially. And if you drive like an auntie, you'll get 14-15km/l.

Thr way I see it, win win. Hehe. Apart from the extra purchase price and the weird servicing schedule.

1.8 is worth buying for the specs atthough it is fabric. It depends on your budget, i will go for it if i come from previous  car is not honda, and 1.8 engine is reliable engine that been used for many years.

because after market rim spec is not the same as OG rim.
even thou after market rim is much lighter than our OG steel rim.

Anyway, I am VERY tempted to change rim

Bro, I understand you are getting your car from Honda Roda BB, Jalan Imbi, KL.

This is some insider info for you. The tint which they claim is Llumar Diamond 6 is not actually that. Certain sales ppl at this Honda dealer pakat with the tinting shop. They install a much lower grade of tint but put the Llumar sticker. No way you can get Diamond 6 for only RM1,800.

Also double check the 'terms & conditions' of that RM500 discount from your SA.

This dealership has got many bad reviews e.g customers getting cheated, original car accessories removed & replaced, promises made and not kept, etc.

Make sure you get everything in black & white. Never trust anything verbal from them. If he promises you Llumar Diamond 6 at RM1,800 ask him to take u to the Llumar shop and you ask them directly in front of him. Make sure they give you the original Llumar 10 years warranty slip. It must be from llumar and not from the shop.

1) Branch manager is not bothered. If there are issues, he will actually disappear from the office just to avoid
2) Sales advisors have dealings with a nearby tint shop - agree to a particular type of tint but lower grade installed
3) If they feel the customer doesn't know, prices of add on's are jacked up
4) Cars can arrive with scratches as the car wash they use is a cheapo roadside one
5) Very disorganised dealership

I sell my carsome even better deal than honda itself. Went to live bidding i got 2k extra than what honda offered for my 2007 persona.

Get the turbo. You might feel a tang of regret a couple of years down the line with the 1.8.

After getting the Civic turbo, I don't think I can drive any NA car under 2.5 cc anymore.

that kind of question need ask Bank.. i decided to go with kuwait house..9 yrs tenure at 2.55% pryr.

If it's Honda authorized supplier, no problem.. 3rd party, i am not too sure..
