CC6 is an entry tire, those who wish to have more performance, then CC6 is not the right choice. as i said, i instantly feel the diff from CC6 - Michelin PS3.

Not driving fast, its about normal speed 60-70 km/h in the middle of 3 lane road, end of fly over, abit slope. My car skid when i hit brake after i aware a few car of me emergency stop. It wont skid such manner if its my previous falken tyre. Anyway its just my 2 cent.

I never really had that problem, even in rain i sometimes do go above 90 km/h. I'm pretty sure the CC6 is much better if we were to compared to tyres like silverstone Atlantis or Synergy, personally used falken can't recall the series but it's just too noisy and the wear was pretty significant. 30k km i needed to change my tyres ady. Well if there's any tyre with better grip but much silent when compared to CC6 i'm all in.

PS: using on my Honda HRV, immediately the NVH/road noise greatly reduced.

Yesterday morning a car sudden merge to my lane and i had to sudden brake. around 6am+, the road still a bit wet from previous day rain. My front tyre lost traction and skidded for a while but then regain back traction. I think i drove 80-90 kmh. Not sure i should thank the tyres my car did not spin or should i change to PS3. Using Conti CC6 now. sweat.gif

*not straight line, slight bend road

I think its the tyres. I am also using CC6 now. Have to admit these set of tyres are comfortable and silent. However, when it comes to traction on wet roads, the condition is a bit tricky.

Grip is much lesser and drivers on CC6 MUST slow down on wet road / rain.

I've been driving the same car for 10 years and never had ABS activated before. On CC6, already twice it was activated.

Better change it..I already dump that shit tyres..corner grip is the most shit among other entry tyres that I tested..Going round about at 40km/h max..Likely to skid out the line already..I can't find ATM2 in my area...So I stick to EP300 for now..Next might test xm2+... Btw my cc6 still have 3.5mm++ when I change it...

I’m planning to change my stock tyre, honda city 175/65R15 if I’m not mistaken and my driving condition 70% city 30% highway, also consider quite a lot of bad condition road around KL recently.

I saw XM2+ (175/65R15, RM208) and CC6 (185/60R15, RM178) on Shopee
Which is better choice? These price is reasonable?
Thanks guys!

Definitely xm2+. It's a better tyre.
Only get cc6 if comfort is your main priority. Cc6 is average in the dry, below average in the wet. Fast or slow, you'll have to be extra careful in the wet.

Not sure about the current price in kl but the price you showed seems reasonable. Last year my dad changed to xm2 for 220, same size as yours. So 208 seems reasonable

my experience on this tyre is nothing special & in penang very pricey for its class, CC6 is an entry level tyre. my advise is, look for other alternatives such as, TOYO Nano energy, Yokohama Blue Earth..etc.

Installed CC6 185/60 R14 and used for 7 weeks .
Cost me RM 760 for 4 tyres at Penang island

The CC6 has impressive comfort and quiet as strength point of this tyre compare with my previous silverstone ducaro , XM2, Dunlop J5 tyre.

Since my previous tyre is almost botak J5 185/65 R14 with age 3 years & 10months, my following review only in between J5 and CC6.

Comfort:
-CC6 win. it absorb a lot impact from small bump, pot hole, yellow line and rough road

Noise:
-On CC6 , most of the noise is from engine, not much from tyre.
-On J5, tyre noise is louder then engine at 80~100km/h on rough road surface.

Cushion effect:
-CC6 better than J5 even my J5 has higher tyre profile.

Cornering:
-'Sampan' effect quite obvious on CC6 at the first few weeks, even my CC6 has lower profile than J5. Tyre pressure increase from 220kpa to 240kpa, sampan feel improved a bit.
Few weeks later, sampan feel become lesser, don't know what happen to the tyre side wall or I may already used to it.

Wet Grip:
-J5 (8/10) even almost botak . CC6 (3/10).

Dry Grip:
-J5 (7/10) even almost botak . CC6 (5/10).
