QUOTE(littlegamer @ Sep 5 2018, 06:51 PM) Gonna say something controversial. Cc6 is a very grippy tyres. Yes you heard it. Tyre patterns plays a role in grip, but even more on compound. Cc6 is relatively soft, I have driving very aggressively with it and it does good. Though this is only meant on dry, wet I'm not sure. Harder compound tyres tend to last longer against wear. I can agree with this. Running on cc6 195/55/15 on myvi. Dry grip is very good for comfort tyres. Wet drip, be careful haha. As long as you don't push the car in the wet, it does the job.

QUOTE(AlittleCb @ Sep 15 2018, 07:25 PM) Guy question, do I need to increase my air pump psi if upgrading tyre from 175 to 195? What's your rim size bro? Using same size as stock rims or upsize/downsize already?

QUOTE(AlittleCb @ Sep 16 2018, 05:28 PM) I guess you can follow the same tyre pressure as before. I'm using 195/55/15 and I'm on 33 psi

QUOTE(anakMY @ Sep 17 2018, 12:03 PM) Is CC6 any better than Toyo Nano3? In terms of comfort, the cc6 is better. Grip wise, nano3 should be better though I'm pretty satisfied with the dry grip of cc6. I'm making this assumption based on the thread patterns because I have yet to used nano3. Alternatively, you can check out tyre reviews uk.

QUOTE(chinkw1 @ Sep 20 2018, 03:17 PM) Hi sifus, Yokohama “BluEarth-Es ES32" vs Continental CC6, Which is better or reliable. Help shed some light pls. What's your definition of better bro? As in better in what sense? I've used the previous generation blue earth before. Then the tyres started to have big cracks around the thread area after just 18 months so I changed to cc6. In terms of comfort, cc6 is one of the best, if not the best. Grip wise I would say both are pretty even because both are low rolling resistance tyres. In terms of reliability, the cc6 feels softer which might make it more prone to small punctures but a quick trip to the tyre shop to tampal will cost you around 5-7 bucks only. If you're asking for my opinion, I would go for the cc6. Feels way more comfortable to drive.

QUOTE(regnox @ Sep 20 2018, 05:10 PM) Have you tried es32? I’m on cc6 now he’s comfy but very soft sidewalls I haven't tried the es32. I've tried the previous blue earth model only. Yeh it's a little soft but still tolerable for me.

QUOTE(Armaza0912 @ Oct 27 2018, 10:03 AM) Hi bro. May i know what model myvi u driving? does changing the tyre size from the ori manufacturer size affect the warranty? My Gen3 Myvi's ori tyre is 185/55/15, but all the tyres of that size damn exp lol, 195 much cheaper, so was considering to change. Hi, I'm using the 2ng gen myvi bro. Generally I don't think changing tyre size will affect warranty. As long as you're using the same rims, it should be fine. What's the ori rim width by the way? Do ask other sifus if 195 is suitable for the ori rim size. I've seen narrow rims with wide tyres and it looked like a fat doughnut on narrow rims haha.

QUOTE(kkk8787 @ Dec 16 2018, 09:20 PM) Yupe. I have no confidence on highway with this. At 120 heavy rain, it feels unstable LOL. You use comfort tyres to speed up to 120kmh in heavy rain? 😂

QUOTE(varialmctwist @ Jun 24 2019, 12:57 AM) is it consider good bargain for 175/65/14 for RM 150? A bit on the high side. Rm160 can get for 15 inch already.

QUOTE(sonicmaster @ Jul 4 2019, 08:15 AM) Im spoiled btwn cc6, michelin xm2+ and gy triplemax If you have the budget, try the new xm2+ and share your feedback with us 😂 cc6 very common already. Time to try something new. Saw the latest reviews and xm2+ beats the cc6 in almost everything except the comfortness No comment on gy triplemax cause I don't have any experience with those tyres.

QUOTE(sonicmaster @ Jul 4 2019, 10:00 PM) I’m least interested in xm2+ because it’s entry level of michelin. Btw, I’m also considering toyo tr1 UHP tyre Just get toyo tr1. Or you can consider hankook ventus v12 evo2 uhp. It's cheaper then tr1. Xm2+ and cc6 are the entry level tyres for their respective brands.

QUOTE(yikhoe @ Sep 11 2019, 06:29 PM) So cc6 no good.. I'm changing to cc6 today cause xm2 too old. If cc6 normal driving OK or not compare to xm2. You all make it sound so bad. For normal driving it's okay. Just be extra careful in the rain. Cc6 will have slightly better comfort than xm2. The rest, xm2 better. But there are better options like Yoko blue earth, Bridgestone ecopia, xm2+.

QUOTE(edwedw @ Dec 29 2019, 05:34 PM) I’m planning to change my stock tyre, honda city 175/65R15 if I’m not mistaken and my driving condition 70% city 30% highway, also consider quite a lot of bad condition road around KL recently. I saw XM2+ (175/65R15, RM208) and CC6 (185/60R15, RM178) on Shopee Which is better choice? These price is reasonable? Thanks guys! Definitely xm2+. It's a better tyre. Only get cc6 if comfort is your main priority. Cc6 is average in the dry, below average in the wet. Fast or slow, you'll have to be extra careful in the wet.

QUOTE(edwedw @ Dec 30 2019, 09:08 AM) Thanks. Btw this price reasonable around KL area? Not sure about the current price in kl but the price you showed seems reasonable. Last year my dad changed to xm2 for 220, same size as yours. So 208 seems reasonable
