1 level up from a horrendous performance doesn't speak much. For Continental I suggest at least MC6. If want cheap but decent, might as well just get something like Hankook Prime 3, cheaper than UC6 but more proven. If got budget better get PS4 SUV.

HP3 is apparently not so suitable / designed for SUVs..... so better still stick to SUV tyres....even our stock tyres are all SUV designed tyres...as far as i know la....

anyway, tq sifu!

Csn try find Hankook S1 Evo2 SUV or Falken Azenis FK510 SUV, should be cheaper than PS4 SUV (like 70% of PS4 price) but almost as good.

Anyone used the new Continental CC6 tyre?

Can share their experience using this tyre?

Interesting pattern, and marketed as very quiet tyre.

Thinking to get conti cc6 for my 2013 Honda jazz ge. Stock tyre size 175/65 r15 but I only able to find 185/60 r15 cc6. Would it be ok to use 185/60 for Jazz?

Yeah sure. If rim width wide enough, 195/55 also possible.

I am using CC6 too. Actually this tyre is very good for what it is meant for, comfort and quiet and adequate for daily normal use. Continental only claims the following:

Superior low noise level
Excellent comfortable ride
High mileage performance
Good fuel efficiency

However, many people always compare it with higher performance tyres. Always complain no grip and etc. doh.gif

Just changed cc6 from xm2. I feel exactly what u feel. Very quite and very comfortable. Fyi, I use xm2 for 2 cycle, 2013 and 2016.

Xm2 clearly a good product back then, but not now and no update from michelin for a very long time. I wish they product xm3.

As for now, I really happy with CC6. Fresh in the market and price cheaper than aging xm2 somemore which sway my loyalty from michelin. Lol.

Hi bro, review of your CC6 please.

In terms of noise, comfort, stability at highways, wear compared to xm2.

Comfort definitely better than xm2, Noise marginally better. Stability 120kmh, almost the same, wear I think xm2 better(last longer)

Not long after I bought cc6, michelin introduce xm2 replacement which is xm2 plus. Dunno why they dont name it xm3, as xm2 already long exist in the market. then they old put plus in the back. lol.

will try xm2 plus after my cc6 finish.

michelin only improve rubber compounds to make XM2 more durable in term of worn, visibly there is no different in between XM2 and XM2+

I think the xm2+ different from xm2 is the rubber compound only, too many issues with premature cracks on xm2.

Thanks for the update bro

Btw, do you pump more air into the cc6 compared to the recommended air pressure?

Wargh, they profit so much from xm2, but only do marginal for product update. lol.

Now I may need to reconsider back my decision.

I usually put 30psi for my city. Due to honda hard suspension, cannot put more. I try put 31 to 34 b4. Ride become very bumpy.

30psi is recommended?

How's the cornering? Not those fast corners, like those sweeping bends on highway speed?

I asked a tyre shop, they said uc6 got 195/60/15. Couldn't find the tyre size in their website also

Ya..30psi is recommended..

Cornering quite good. but never do very high sweeping bends.

Get UC6 like that. uc6 is higher than cc6, but u do need to sacrifice a lil bit comfort.

The recommended pressure is 32psi front and 30psi back right? If I pump only 30psi to all sides will make the front tyre looks under inflacted because of the engine weight.
