After much controversy and investigation the Indonesian Air Force decided to go ahead with the procurement of six units AW101 CSAR helicopters but cancelled the four units VVIP variants (reports that Indonesia had initially ordered a total 10 units AW101 helicopters).
![]() QUOTE TNI AU Pastkan Heli AW-101 Tetap Diadakan Jum'at, 17 February 2017 15:02 WIB Penulis: Sumantri KEPALA Staf Angkatan Udara (TNI AU) Marsekal Hadi Tjahjanto memastikan pengadaan heli angkut kelas berat jenis Augusta Westland 101 (AW-101) akan tetap dilanjutkan. Waiting For Invasion
Only 25 years after gaining independence from Russia, Lithuania is fearful of occupation again. The airspace above the Baltic states has seen regular incursions by Russian military aircraft since Russia annexed the Crimea. And the armed conflict that has been raging in eastern Ukraine for nearly three years has left people wondering if Lithuania could be next. This documentary tells the story of two young Lithuanians getting ready to defend their country in case the unimaginable happens and Russia invades. But the film is not about the war, it is about peace and the people who are willing to fight to preserve it. ![]() ![]() |

QUOTE(ayanami_tard @ Feb 18 2017, 02:26 AM) marhalim said prolly all the infantry unit will use this fast helmet its a lot lighter than the current pasgt style helmet but can offer same level of ballistic protection so its a good upgradei dun really think it's necesary. old helmet is good enuf but i say its a trade-off with their equipments getting lot heavier nowadays with rpg and body armor becoming a squad standard load This post has been edited by DDG_Ross: Feb 18 2017, 08:52 AM |

QUOTE(DDG_Ross @ Feb 18 2017, 08:51 AM) its a lot lighter than the current pasgt style helmet but can offer same level of ballistic protection so its a good upgrade It's the correct progression.the Malaysian army is making body armour standard now, being prone while wearing body armour will push the back of the helmet and tilt it forward, making it hard to actually seebut i say its a trade-off with their equipments getting lot heavier nowadays with rpg and body armor becoming a squad standard load Another advantage is that these new helmets have better impact protection so no more need for pro-tec skating helmets |
