There's some 9mm loads floating out there that's marked for MG only. Reason being, MG are typically open bolt design and need a harder primer. Also they're loaded hotter compared to SAAMI or CIP specs.
However modern SMG like MP5 or CZ Scorpions should have no issues with SAAMI or CIP spec ammo. Nato 9mm is somewhat equivalent to the 9mm marked as +P sold in the US. There are some +P+ ammo out there, but no one really uses it.
If you're using ball rounds it doesnt really matter, but for LEO/Civ use in US with defense ammo, then the round velocity plays a big factor. For eg based on Simtest experiments, the best expansions come for the various projectile weight: 124gr go for +P 147gr go for normal pressure
Watch youtube "TNoutdoors9" for bullet testing, lots of good info there.
PS: Look for the circle and cross headstamp on the case, that means its Nato spec. Anyway Msian ammo majority comes from SME in Batu Arang

Agree...
Honestly i find it sad that people still believe the FUD spread by Guan Eng... The navy actually took LGE on a dive and after that he retracted his previous statements and praised the boys for a job well done.
Actually I feel that ATM should change their retirement pension to that of the US Armed Forces.
Right now ATM's pension is capped at 60% of the personnel's last drawn salary after 30 years in service, plus a lump sum of money (7.5% x months x salary).
US pension is 100% of average salary for last 3 years in service after 40 years.
Actually what i rather see is the removal of the 21 years of service cap. Lots of guys that want to continue to serve but have to retire at a young age.
