That's it. The end of good time. Once all money is lifted up, then gotta move all to FSM.

I've just test uplift a 10k, 60 months yesterday's placement this morning. Yes, GIA calculated RM10,000.97. Still getting 3.55% one day profit if i uplift it today.
Made a new 1k 12months placement for another test tomorrow to confirm the new GIA TnC. |

But new placements if get daily interest upon premature uplift still might not attract me to place new one, cause if they dont give me interest, I lost the argument base and left with 0 interest instead of at least 2% in m2u saver I acct. It maybe just me... Really sad news. |

eGIA is working like normal FD wef 1 August 2017. The working mechanism is as below link. Example, 12 months tenor is placed on 1 August 2017 but premature withdrawal on 1 September 2017, no profit will be paid. The same for 15 September and so on till the 3rd month.

If you make placement after 1/8, you won't get anything if you make pre mature withdrawal. If set it to deposit to account, I am sure maybank will just minus the principal. |

Similar to that of FD with monthly interest payment, if you premature withdraw after 6 weeks, the bank will deduct from your principal amount for all the interest already paid in advance.Having said that, no one actually test the system yet. Anyway, you can do a test with a 1k 12months deposit and premature withdraw it after GIA credited the first monthly interest to your casa. Who knows, ada loophole. |

Yes, the loophole.
If you put Tenure: 6 Month Interest Credit: Monthly Placement date: 1 AUG 17 1 SEP 17 - you will received interest correct? Then say you with w'draw on 30 SEP 17, no more interest given for 1-29 SEPT, but the previous interest payment had been given, means given ?? In public bank eFD, last time they have something like this also. But as you know PB character, evey single cent must be calculated to their profit. If you void the tenure period, they cut back from your principal later of the interest you have been given. |
