You put the money there, at the end of the calendar month, you get the distribution (equivalent to profit). Unlike GIA though, you will not get the profit immediately upon withdrawal.

What happens if you withdraw mid-month? Will you still get the pro-rated distribution?

Well official inflation is always lower than % increase in cost of living. However official inflation spike to 5.1% in March. Not sure what's the rate for April. So you can imagine % increase in cost of living.
From eUT page, annualised performance seem to be poor at 1-2%. Am I missing something?

Didn't see 1-2% from Fs, but 3.5%

Will check it out. For the 360-i right, can open at any branch? Or just branches with Al-Amin ?

Can open at any branch, OCBC Bank or Al-Amin.

That is a good question. I am not sure about that as I am unaware how the distribution will be calculated.

According to the Prospectus: -

QUOTE
Where a Unitholder requests for a full redemption on his investment in PMMMF within the month, any income distribution subsequently declared will be automatically paid out to the Unitholder on the first working day of the following month. Under such circumstances, the Unitholder must provide his bank account number and the bank’s name to facilitate banking of the income distribution cheque to his bank account.

Guys, with the recent announcement that dividen will be reduced after 16 June, means better to uplift before that date and re placement back after that, or just maintain, before uplift when 1st august? Providing still wanna use Gia account.

Uplift and place again on the 16 Jun. Or 17 Jun. Not sure. best to uplift and place back again on both that date.

for the rate, it doesnt matter because the rate applies to the each day. 3.45% until 15 June, new rate from 16 June onwards.

for the upliftment revision, perhaps put new placement(s) just before 1 Aug. At least after 1 Aug, you can uplift "old" placements without impact to profit.

Oh i see, since its daily rated its still the same whether maintain or uplift-replace on that 16 june, as long before 1st august, where no interest for early uplift. Tq guys.

Hi guys, i just tried this with 2k for 2 months.

So basically the difference compared to normal fd is I can get the interest even if I uplift before the maturity where in normal fd they will just return back the principal without the interest if uplifted befored the maturity?

yes but this "feature" will end on 1 Aug whereby uplift will follow conventional eFD, i.e. no profit if uplift within 3 months.

From my understanding it includes interbank transfer to CASA as bill payment too. I have done multiple interbank transfer using IBFT since the beginning of this month from my OCBC 360 account since the start of the free Instant Transfer. We should know the result in a few days time.
This is indeed like Maybank GIA. Can we do everything online though ?

I just got an email reply from the bank. Bank Islam's Wafiyah Investment Account, all done over the counter only, sadly.
