Nope Ramadhan are only March for 2025

I know, I’m aware of it. I was referring to the Ikhwan AmEx RM 100 cash back months. Nothing about the actual Ramadhan, I also asked before this question if this year will be only in March we will be enjoying RM 100 in March but Maybank already came out with the schedule ahead when they launched the card. Just maybe they may revise it to March and April instead. Let’s see.

I asked before: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...ost&p=110916309

Maybank really hebat. Bank Negara intervened. Maybank confirmed and emailed that will credit the missing cashback, yet they still dare to miss the date.

Is it confirmed that for Ikhwan AMEX Platinum, the RM100 bonus months are Fed and Mar 2025? Can Maybank make changes to this?

Check Maybank's website TNC. It's clearly stated there.

I really think the Group Customer Experience Management dept doesn't know the cashback mechanism of this card.

For Maybank Islamic Ikhwan American Express Platinum Credit Card-i:

I tried to pay a bill, on Lazada website. What was weird is that the transaction was approved, without me pressing Secure2U approval in MAE app, and without me keying the Maybank SMS OTP on Lazada website.

I did not save my credit card numbers, before performing the bill payment on Lazada website.

Is it normal for a transaction on Lazada website to be approved, without Secure2U approval?

Does Maybank still consider such transaction on Lazada website an online transaction?

Thank you. smile.gif

Normal for Lazada and Shopee.
No need secure2u.

For Lazada-EC, most of the time will go through Online verification without OTP/Secure2u verification. Very rare, I experienced 2 times over the years, debit the card account instead of online.

P/S: Worry-free. Maybank M2 Amex, 5% weekend CB, doesn't matter it is online, debit, PIN entry or contactless.

Thank you for your clarification, ClarenceT. smile.gif

I always delete my saved card details prior to performing the online transaction, so that the approval of online transactions will likely trigger OTP/Secure2u verification.

Hopefully, such trigger minimizes the possibility of the online transactions being processed via direct debit.

Sigh, we customers may be unable to prevent the payment gateway to process the online transactions via direct debit.

I get your point that it is worry-free, if we use M2 Card Amex. Well, it is the risk we have to take, if we want to get the higher 8% cashback from Maybank Ikhwan Amex.

Bank Negara is toothless now. Maybank blatantly disregard them.

Sucks! I already accumulated RM1250 in SPayLater for payment next month. If I pay using M2U AMEX it's over by RM250. rclxub.gif
