if all your checkings are correct, then give maybank a call to dispute the incorrect/missing cb.

Maybank replied to my email stated that the cashback was credited on 8 Dec 2024. 8 Dec 2024 cashback was for Nov's spending while my dispute is for Decembet's spending.

This is very embarassing, they don't even know the cashback mechanism.

This one keeps saying that he konon tried to call but couldn't reach. Apparently on 2 dfferent days, 2 times each. He unable to provide any evidence when I demanded for the call log.

just ask him/her to go back check, while you're on hold (be prepared yourself to stay on hold too). first few times, CS couldnt get proper answer while on call. Then call back again and keep escalating.

took me 3-4 calls just for them to get it right; understand how the cb works and where was the gap (missing/incorrect cb, especially due to card replacement)

eventually, they'll grant the missing cb.

I communicated via email. The person is not normal CS mind you, Case Manager, CFRM somemore and lack of knowledge on own product. Or I wonder if this is a ploy so that some cardholder don't bother to check and forgo the entitled CB

the table is just an example (i wonder how they determined it at the first place lol), not sure if maybank prefixed it as the default cb months until year 2033

on the contrary, there is a "rules" clause to determine which is the cb months based on 1st day of ramadhan and 1st day of syawal

conincidentally, 2025's 1st day of ramadhan and syawal falls on the same calendar month

if ramadhan starts early, then same scenario: same calendar month

if ramadhan starts late, then syawal will be pushed to Apr, then we get 2 calendar months to enjoy cb
