As long as you hit 750, the 20% is applicable for the whole month. A very straightforward promotion.

Got my RM85 CB at redemption page.
The 1st CB using my just one card for online insurance & utility spend on Oct.

Hi there, meaning paying insurance online instead of auto debit is also eligible for the cash back right? Coz there are a few insurance where we can pay online, i.e. AIA, Prudential, AXA Affin (via UOB PayOnline) etc. Is your insurance paid online relates to any of the insurance provider that I mentioned here?

Thanks a lot in advance. smile.gif

I'm trying to redeem the cash back and it requires a SMS OTP however I'm not able to receive the SMS OTP even after clicking resend. Happened since yesterday.
Anyone encounter similar issues?

SCB cards are good but the AF is pretty hefty to pay. sweat.gif

Though my sis claims that she hasn't been charged with AF all these years for her SCB CB Gold, I just want to prepare ourselves on this, how easy to waive the AF? I'm quite interested with the JustOne card but the AF is pretty high.

Any old timers care to shed some lights in this matter?

For the Standard Chartered Gold CashBack MasterCard, does the cashback works for oversea transactions? I actually called the customer service to ask, initially the lady says it still works, but later ask me to hold on the line while she confirm it, later tell me that there is no cashback for oversea usage as it is not retail. Anyone tried it?

I don't quite believe the lady as all other credit card's cashback still works overseas.

May i know how much u spend annually on SC cards.
Because they may check on the spending to decide to waive or not

Ya, the only problem is need to call them up.
I ask them before why need to call to waive so troublesome since every time i call also get waiver straight away. They reply to me is "Sir, there are many people never call to waive." bangwall.gif bangwall.gif

Great information. Thanks! biggrin.gif
So, I can spend like normal and no need to avoid spending before AF is charged right?

Some banks do not allow to waive AF if you still spend after AF is charged.

Member since 2012 and never paid anything. They used to charge me AF and I had to call to get it waived. Initial years they even gave $$ to retain.

Last year, my AF didn't even appear in the statement at all biggrin.gif

Yeah, my sister mentioned the same thing too, already having their card for at least 7 years but no AF has been charged so far.
