All cameras now already got server automatically setup with respective company.
That’s how you’re able to view the cctv remotely even you’re not on your home wifi network
Unless you’re paranoid about them spying on you then you’d just setup your own server

u mean the video recorded are auto transmitted to the server in the company as long it's connected to wifi & online?
even those model which stores recordings into microSD card? blink.gif

Then again, it’s old news, probably improved the security for the camera now

to ur opinion, which model is good enough in security aspect & suitable for indoor home usage with two way audio?
my need for two way audio mainly is to communicate with my kids when i'm away from home, also to see if they behave themselves at home

quite good.

Good
1) 5MP picture quality is good.
2) 4X Optical Zoom is useful.
3) User interface for the app is quite good. It is also very easy to setup the camera for first time.
4) Price wise it is totally more worth it to get this than any cheaper brand like TPlink etc.
5) Viewing angle is reasonable at maximum 90 degree.
6) Email alert for motion detection is quite good.

Bad.
1) When viewing the camera in 5MP mode, somehow it keeps on complaing the network connection is poor therefore the live streaming will have jittering problem. but using balanced mode no issue. My home unifi is 100Mbps, however, it should be more than enough to stream 5MP camera without issues. Dun know why though. To be fair balanced mode to me is also quite good enough in terms of image quality, so i am ok with that. Maybe next time upgrading my home broadband to a faster speed to see if it improves.

this is my first time using this brand of camera, it is totally good user experience to me. will certainly buy it again.

No need pay so much la unless you need the wifi extender function. Tuya 1080p is below rm99 on Shopee/Lazada. Some models can even view from PC.

Hi all, would like to ask. I have several POE cctvs connected to NVR via lan. Recently my router was having issue and thus NVR lost connection. I believe the cctvs will still record and the Nvr stores a local copy in HDD. However, in my case, I can't locate any recordings on this particular day. Only when the router was up again and nvr got the connection, it starts recording back. Is this normal?

By right the POE port on NVR will assigned own ip range different from your actual router. Check if it's the same, if yes try changing it then removed the network cable to see if the ipc still functioning.
