No, NVR available in multiple X4 configuration. Normally, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 and 128ch. Only mic? No need speaker for two way audio?

hi sifus, can anyone advise whats wrong with my cctv?
I recently found out that my cctv isn't able to record clearly (starting from 5:30pm late afternoon)...it is already this bad and it goes totally blackout as the night falls until next morning 8am.

However, in the morning 8am to afternoon 4pm, it is extremely clear and before this, it is quite clear all the time (night/midnight/morning/evening). I am not too sure what's going on. Been using this cctv for approximately about 9 months++ Can anyone clarify this? sorry to bother you sifus. tqtq and appreciate it very much.

The model of this particular cctv is wireless xiaomi imilab home security camera A1 1080p 360 degree (model: CMSXJ19E)

Try change adapter see any difference. I suspect not enough Amp to power the IR or did you set to color only setting? Not familiar with Xiaomi ipc but this is the general issue for problem like this.

IP cameras nowadays don't consume much electricity. Just leave them on 24/7.

If only you have good memory to on off daily. You may said instal a timer but that is a preset time. In between the family still need to go out. Why create 'problem' when there is none.

With armed guards, banks still get rob.

Hi,

Sorry, newbie here. I wish to install CCTV at my house (double storey) and would want to DIY.

Looking into wireless, thinking of this set EZVIZ 4 x C3W 4MP 2K Surveillance System X5S 8 Channel Wireless Kit -> https://s.lazada.com.my/s.dYorA

What you think of it? Or any other recommendation that have the same price range or top up a bit?

Thanks a lot.

The 4 places you intend to install the camera already have power outlets?
I don't know how dark is the below YT review for night time color but am not impressed with their color night view at all.

Yup have power outlets and house running mesh, WiFi coverage should be no issue.

I see, is there any other model or brand, you would recommend?

Thanks

You can consider CamHi IPC with Sony 335(5Mp) CMOS Sensor or in fact any wifi ip camera with this sensor with ONVIF support. Cheaper and better night time quality.

If you are not using EZVIZ wifi ip camera, no point to spent so much to buy a low end NVR. If your Wifi signal is good at the 4 camera points any wired NVR will do.
